ive been skating for a while....

I NEED HELP or a Webpage that shows a kickflip in picture sequence...(really good sequence cause most are shity on the net) kickflips look awsome...i wanna do one...help me...

well first of all this should be in the sports forum. i dont really know of any websites that show how to do a kickflip, do a search for it. i guess i can try to tell you how.

1. can you do an ollie? if not, you really need more practice, like a lot more practice.

2. now that you can do an ollie that is relatively high (like one deck or so) every time you try, you are ready to attempt the kickflip.

3. the motion of your feet in a kickflip is somewhat similar to the motion of your feet in an ollie. instead of having your front foot straight across the deck, have it slightly more toward the edge. now do an ollie, except slide your foot up and off instead of just sliding up.

other notes: it is like an ollie but a much quicker motion. and dont follow through in your motion as much as you would an ollie if you plan on landing it. try to jump up off of your board as soon as you attempt the trick, unless you want to get whacked in the ankle, which im sure you know hurts like a bitch and a half. try not to land too far back on the board, or it will slip out from under you and shoot out in front of you into the street just as your neighbor pulls out in the street and runs over your brand new skateboard and makes your little 7 year old bitch of a nephew laugh (not like this has happened to me or anything). well thats pretty much all i can say, just work at it a lot. it would really help if you have a friend to skate with who could really show you how.

when i do it, i put my back foot like i normally would on an ollie, but my front foot almost straight forward, half on the board half off the side. then i ollie, slide my front foot up, and then tap my front foot toes down, which kicks down the side of the board. this makes it spin. pick your feet up and let it make one full turn. then just catch it wiht your feet and land it. its a cool trick thats easy to do.

when i do it NOW, i position my feet like i normally do on an ollie, because i got so used to it. but when learning it, try the postion above. i only use that postion now when i double kickflip. i can almost triple.

I'm sorry, but I have a sort of personal vendetta against skaters that can't kickflip. You just made my day. Please don't take this personally - but you are a little pissant wannabe, reading websites for skate "tricks".
