Default inexpensive lab supplies?

i was wondering where i could obtain some lab supplies for relatively low prices.

what im really looking for is a triple beam balance, but most run for 100 bucks each. same for the cheapest hotplate i could find. if someone knows where i can get a hotplate and/or triple beam balance for around 50 bucks each id be very appreciative.

about the hot plate, if you don't have to be really percise on the temp. you can use and electric frying pan ($25 at walmart) or hit the thrift stores and get single burner little electric hotplates for $5-$10 that you can vary the temp on.

There used to be a place in berkeley off of H-24 at the Clairmont Exit. they sold hospital and lab supplies hell of cheap. its like a huge warehouse of supplies. but it may have gone out of buesiness already.

Odd, we have one of those in Berkley out here (MI).
I've seen tripple beam balances at Office Depot, hot plates too.

yes but theyre all to expensive for me

theres a place by me called american scientific surplus thats sells science supplies and stuff for very very cheap, because they buy surplus. they have triple beam balances and hotplates, but i dont think they got those in surplus because theyre the same price as in professional chemistry websites

are there any good websites you recommend? oh and i need them for basic chemistry applications. the scale for measuring out accurate measurements of solids and the hotplates for heating liquids (i dont have a gas supply nozzle for a bunsen burner, and the ones that run on propane tanks are like 120 bucks.)
