Re: China & Russia, is it official?
Never trusted the 2 Governments. But i have many Chinese American friends and some russian friends. I hope this country doesnt start bashing the 2 races if we ever do have another cold war or even a hot war for that matter. Governments seperate people and those Governments are controled by the coperations of the world. Why the fuck do we have to fight anyways.

Re: China & Russia, is it official?
Oh, one more thing. Seems NASA and the Russian Space program cant get along either. NASA requested that Russia not allow a civilian to become the first space tourist because the ISS (Internation Space Station) hasnt been finished and they feel it is to dangerous at this point. But Russia wanted to make a few bucks and gave the GO for the millionare. So NASA then asked Russia not to launched last night because they wanted to finish their portion of the work that needed to be done but Russia said no we are launching anyways. NASA was afraid that the russian shuttle could damage the space shuttle because it will be only 20 feet from the Space Shuttle. and when you are travling at 17,000 mph thats pretty hairball.

Re: China & Russia, is it official?
Naw, I hear that it costs NASA 20 000 $ per pound to send things in space so if your average man is a 150 pound plus another 100 pounds of equipment, food and other things to keep him alive, it would cost 5 million dollars just to send you in space.

naw.. its becoming cheaper and cheaper as technology expands. Thats what nasa charges not what it cost them. It doesnt cost 20,000 dollars in fuel but per pound but thats how much they charge people to send equipent and satelittes into space because of the costs of the invention of the space shuttle. They used to charge a lot more but cost has come down greatly. Im not sure how these low orbital planes will actual get into low orbit but its not a rocket. it will take off like a plane and then use some kind of perpulsional system to booste it into low orbit then it skips up and down on the atmosphere like a rock skipping on a lake. so there is only like 2 minute intervals seperated by a minute or so of being weightless. You will actually see the thin blue line and the curvature of the planet. and it will take only 30 minutes to fly from NYC to Tokyo. a bit slower then the space shuttle moves. it can complete an earths rotation about every 45 minutes where as these planes will move about half that speed. and im guessing once this plane is invented they will be able to modify it to dock at a low earth orbital hotel.
