But there is a huge difference because the insurence companies will start doing "profiling" on their clients. soon laws will be changed and some people wont even be able to get life insurence or even health insurence because their DNA will show they are proned to having a certain cancer gene or diabitis.

Even though they maybe perfectly healthy now they might have a 90% + chance of coming down with some serious disease at a later time in their lives.

I dont know about Australia or their laws but in America the Government is "The People" all of the people. At what point in our history did it become a seperate entity?

I was thinking the other day. How the hell is money really circulated? It seems to me that at one point, one group of people is going to have all of it. What happens then? It's been evident for years that there isn't enough to go around anyways. Bartering is such a better idea, work for work, supplies for supplies, work for supplies.

Just weird. You work, the govt takes some, you spend it, the got takes more, you try to save it, the govt takes from your interest. But there's more to it. Rich guy gives you a job, you make him money, he gives you a little, in the long route of things your money ends up back into the pockets of the govt or the rich. Yet they say the economy suffers when "we" stop spending. I say the economy suffers from greed and greed alone.
Ah hell, it's a big mess to me, I don't fully understand nor can I think of a better way, except barter, be your own boss, and know how to make your own stuff.

My dream is to start a business, make some money, sell it, and homestead while doing a lil bit of business, but mostly homesteading. Any farm girls out there?

Whats up with this fucking "Capital Gains"tax law. its the worst theft of peoples prosperity this country has.

You know whats a bigger joke?! You buy stocks, Stocks go down.. you panic and sell your stocks for 10% of what you payed for it. This seems redundant but you have to pay "Capital Gains" on the sale of them. even though you just lost 90% of your own money. The Government sees the sale as "Capital Gains" and takes a percentage of it. Its fucking insane because you gained no capital. but the way the Government looks at it is as soon as you purchase stocks you liquidate your cash into invesments and its no longer your money. Then if you sell it for profit or loose money it wont matter. they still tax you on the sell of those stocks. Thats the one thing that makes no sense to me as An American.

Bartering is the best. No taxes at all. If everyone bartered we could realy put the hurt on the government.
