I'm broke and I owe the video store a bunch of money! I still havent taken back the movies! Is there any way around this?!

... When I left the States my family owed quite a bit to a video store too... but their isn't a lot they can do to get the money now. Can't you just ignore the bill until you get money... unless it's, like, a Block Buster I don't think they'll mind....

Why don't you just stick it in the drop box then start a new account under a different name?

yeah i don't think they can do anything if you return the movies(if you still have them)
and if they give you some sort of reciept.

If the bill is in YOUR name, Matius, they can't force you to adhere to any part of a contract. If they do decide to take you to court, the judge, in my opinion, MAY, force you to pay the "at cost" price of the videos.

But the above said is all null and void, if their policy includes renting videos to minors. Because if they do enter ino contracts with minors, you may be held accountable by "their" laws. Hehe, but if they take you to court, you may get off scot free, because businesses aren't supposed to enter into contracts with minors. Actually they "can" but they are voidable by either party...i.e. YOU.

I'm just afraid there gonna send out the Panorama Gestapo.
