I find that the best way to keep the population down is to eat babies. I find a very effective and pleasurable way to do this is to first construct a large catapult. Then after a few baby sized test shots go to the general landing area and plant many large and sharp stakes there. Now launch the little tike towards the spikes. After it is impaled chop your stakes dwon for wood start a fire and roast the little impaled corpse over it. Season to taste, and enjoy
