since the china standoff occured last week i have noticed a shitload of Military activity in the area. What is weird is the San Francisco Bay Area has closed much of its bases. Only Travis and Concord remain open. I have seen several UH-1 and Bell Cobra's flying overhead. If you dont know what a UH or Cobra is. It is the large single prop Helicopters with the large 50mm gun sticking out of the front. Last time i seen this much activity was during Clintons bombing over Yugoslavia. im not saying China is going to start some shit over this. Most likely this will all cool down. But then again Bush wants to sell arms to Taiwan. It's still possible China will use the 25 captive men as leverage.

... The US and China getten' involved in a war would be illogical... neither of them would be able to win... If China was to try and attack America... they'd loose... and if the US tried to take over (or police) China they'd loose. But I doubt either such sinerio would take place... for in the event of such a war, it would probabley quickly dwindle into a stupid fight of throwing nukes at each other (which they both have plenty of), the out come of that... the end of the world... no I doubt their would be survivors... just a dead Earth. So, unless both countries want to commit basic suicide, I don't think we're gonna see a war... what should happen is China should return those innocent soilders and America should get off their fucking high horse and apologize.. Those poor men and women stuck and held captive in a foreign land... and rest the soul of the man who died in the jet... mistakes happen... then apoplogies and reconciliations are suppose to follow, but no. What do we have instead... a very dangerous rising conflict between 2 super powers. It's all pretty ridiculous...

If it really came down to it, I bet the chinese would kick some american ass like they did in Vietnam. But that would only happen if neither side used nuclear weapons because if they did, they'd both be fucked.

..not really. The Chinease would have to get all their power (soilders, tanks, etc.) across the sea to America... and that they wouldn't be able to do. It's a lose lose situation... neither side would be able to successfully invade the other. And if for some reason one side started to pull ahead... the other would resort to nuclear warfare. America is talking about getting back into the star wars defense system and china and russia are saying if we do that it will end the arms treaty (As well as violate it) and the cold war will begin again. lets face it this world is to small for all these egos. its just a matter of time before it ends. You cant stop progress. 25 years ago the chinese got their hands on their very first nuclear weapon.. they are now estimated to have nearly 100 nukes in their arsenal. Pakistan and India both have about 10-20 each. North Korea has none (As far as we know) but they are developing long range missles that only the USA and Russia have had up till now. Missles that can travel about 1200 miles. and soon into low orbit outer space which means they will in the next 5-10 years be able to hit any target in the USA. its progress.. and unlike Russia the chinese are not afraid to get into an all out war. So learn to speak cantonese everyone, it may come in handy. I love chinese people and their culture so for me it may not be that bad.

im not sure the world will actually end. I mean if only 1% of the world population survived in some form then there would still be 60 million people on the planet. if 99.9% died there would still be 6 million on the planet. People did survive at ground zero Heroshima. most of them died later but some lived on for 20-30 years. so i doubt it will totally end. It will take something much large that humans dont have yet to do the job.

I don't remeber who said the U.S. was superior in navy but they are completely wrong. china has been buying state of the art nuclear submarines from russia in an attempt to re-arm china with new weapons but also help russia make money.

China has such a large amount of land surounded by water and with Japan and the U.S. to there east they have a large navy.

and I think it was alan smithee who said the U.S. ONLY lost 500000 or however many zero's there were, but that is a lot of soldiars to just throw away.

clinton has time and time again demilitarialized the U.S. and if the event of a nother war happened america would pay the price.

Sounds to me you don't know you're choppers. The UH-1 or the Huey is a troop carrier, some are armed, but they don't have a nose gun. AH-1's or Cobra does have a nose gun and it can be a M2 but is most often a minigun in either .308 or 20mm. The US's largers single prop is the CH-53 aka BlackHawk, they kinda look like Air Wolf (that show was cool).

Anyways....

China, war with china would prolly suck. The only thing they have a chance of making it to our soil are the icbm's sold to them by the Clintonian's. There is no way in hell they could land troops. Our Pacific fleet is, well damn, quite a bit bigger than their entire navy. Their airforce is also worth about jack and shit, and jack's left. If we do go to war, I figure we'd see some nukes, but of course they would have to expect one hell of a retaliation. Bush doesn't believe in Clinton's pussy first strike policy. If we do launch we ought hit Russia as well, because they'd be the first to back up China. Maybe that my lease is up I should move away from Columbus. Columbus has no really bases, but does house a large logistics command post as well as great production facilities and a few fuel refineries. Not a bad target as with all large cities.

Personally I think China should return the soldiers have their way with the plane and send it back in pieces, the same thing we would do and have done in the past. It's also the same thing the former USSR has done to us.

The Real.. Where you in the military. I asked like 3 people on yahoo.com in the military room. I dont know military hardware so i just wanted to confirm that. So they gave me false information but they only had my description to go by.

one also said something about a DUH-2 could also be it. But after they gave me that information i went on the internet and saw the helicopters looks more like the cobra with a huge fucking nose gun sticking out. These things were bad ass.. they chopped the sky up pretty loud. I was told that when it rains (Which it was that day) and the cieling is low they have to tilt the blades.. this is why they are louder during rainy days im guessing. anyways its very frightning to look at these things fly over your house at about 500 feet. i could almost see the damn pilots.

Im wondering how long it would take Suddam Hussain to start some bullshit if the USA and China did lock horns.

Think about it, why the fuck should the chinese admit shit about being wrong, First it was a US spy plane hovering above china what the fuck are they suppose to do wave. If it were the US who found a chinese spy plane peeking about it would have been shot down. If there was a war it would be a close one but I promise you this, if bush is still president he most likely would've stirred up shit with 3 or 4 other countries by then who would be willing to back china up like Iraq, Russia. The US is purposely denying china the right to advance beyond the US like the denial of selling them high powered computers which even Intel, IBM, have opposed because they lose piles of cash of what couldve have been good buisness policy and boosted both enconomies. The US is just scared of another Russia right behind its feet in military, technology, economy. and yes by the time this is posted the crew have been returned. Dark, Thats not true. International waters are 200 miles of the coast of any country. The Chinese have not only done flights just off the coast of california.. they have several time violated American Space by coming into the San Francisdco bay Area with Nuclear Submarines. This has never officially been released but i have friends in the Military who say they have chased them before. this is a game that has been going on for decades. you just never hear about them until something tragic happens like this.
