Death for Sell?
Im really curious. My friend told me to log onto www.rotten.com he said there is the picture of chris farleys corpes on it. Of course my morbid curiosity had me log onto it. I wish i hadn't but of course i looked at several other pictures while on there. My question is this. Do the police sell these autopsy pictures to the public or are they part of the freedom of information act? I mean you know nothing is free in america. You have to pay for proxessing fee's. Is the Government selling pictures of dead celebs to help ballence the budget? How would you feel if you were Chris Farleys mom or dad and you sons picture of him with blood and brown foam and byle oozing out of his mouth was shown to millions of people world wide? I heard that some tabloid purchased pictures of Dale earnharts photos. The FRIEND who told me to log onto this site told me that his eyes had popped out of his head in the crash. but the photo's were not on that site. Im not saying its right or wrong to be curious about these photos. Maybe there is a benefit to seeing these. Want to scare the shit out of your kids about drug abuse. Show them chris farleys photos. but i think the more morbid thing here is the sell of death!

Re: Death for Sell?
Autopsy photos are a matter of public record. Don't follow the news much, do ya?

Re: Death for Sell?
Sometimes. Mostly for weather reports and for local events.
McNeal news hour on PBS seems to be more of an unbias new source.
But like i said, Those photos maybe public records but there is always a processing fee which is an excuse for Our government to make money.

Re: Death for Sell?
People just send in the pictures, many thousands of people have legit access to these photos and some of them think that they should be seen, I'd be surprised if anyone is making any money out of these pics.
Many photos are send en mass to the press who throw away the ones that they will get flack for publishing.
Rotten.com have another motive for posting these pics though. The people who run that site also run several anticensorship sites. Rotten is there to say that you can't censor the them with out censoring many legit medical, educational, art, and goverment web sites. It is deliberate the in your face presentation to shock you but also to say you have choice, news papers and the TV don't tell you the whole story they varnish it to make it more palitable.
Fuck censorship and its indorsers who would have you read only their filth. This takes rotten from being a dirty little site to a great site.
You don't have to look at it.
