Why are all these kids deciding to shoot up their schools and kill all of these people? there are lots of less traceble ways to destroy school, without taking any lives in the process. so what's up with them?

Here's a theory- the kids who did Columbine were tired of getting picked on, so they decided to do everybody, and when they couldn't escape, they took themselves out.

Everyone else is a pathetic copycat wannabe. What happened in Colorado was bad, but everyone else just wants to be cool.

hmmm,i remeber when i said "damm that chick is crazy",when i heard that a little girl did a school shooting a long ass time ago,then some 80's band made a song about it called "i dont like mondays",,,,i think thats the name of it,but anyways yeah i think its just all copycating stuff,trends,but also i guess it gives kids something to do,well i dont care about it as long as it doesnt effect me,well at least for now,and even today there was a bomb threat at my college,but anyways i got bets going about these shootings,its not a bad thing right,well gotta go,,,,

What's up with all the shootings?

Well, I have your answer. It was really cool to rebel and all when there was something to rebel against. There used to be a material authority figure to rebel against.

Well, thanks to the Spiffy-like mentality of the last forty years, we have raised a generation of children with no sense of reality, no sense of right and wrong. They have grown up so angry and depressed. Becoming the legions of the limp bizkit empire, and the Korn cult.

No respect for human life and no value systems to refer to.

I am glad that most of you will never have families, your kids will be fucked up. I leave out sckbch and Winki, only because they will go on and on...saying I am wrong. There is a flaw with having an above average intelligence...You can justify anything.

I was thinking about my post and realize that my arguement has a few holes in it...

Here were my thoughts when I first heard about Colombine and what realy happened (including news fotage and the failed propane bomb.)

1. Utter disgust for those kids that did the shooting (by the way a friend knew the shooters.)

2. Sadness for those that were killed and injured.

3. Disgust that those were inteligent kids that attempted to rack up a body count in the hundreds and only got 13 people besides themselves.

This last one actualy prompted me to write a file on how to make a proper job of it, including but not limited to; explosive formulas and where to get chemicals, logistics, remote detonators, and a design of a resonence detonator that would destroy the building completly.
I didn't post it online because of the fear that it would be used, but I couldn't bring myself to delete the file because of the effort put into it. I now keep it in an old jewelry box that I rigged with an electro-magnet that will scrambe the disk if improperly opened. If something happens I don't want to be implicated.

spiffy, Earlier you said that everything is a copy cat to the columbine shootings. But these were happening years boefore Columbine. Kip Krinkle in Springfield Oregon shot up his entire school for the exact same reasons. Whats really sad is he took his mom and dad out as well. This happen with several other mass shooters as well. I think it was a 11 or 12 year old boy who shot his father then killed 4 7th grade girls and a school teacher down in Mississippi or somewhere in the south. This seems to be a tipical pattern that has been happening at least 10 years before the Comlumbine incedent.

What gets to me is this. Why is the media jumping on it? I mean if it happens in yoru local school then i can see why the local media would jump on it. Sure the Columbine thing was world news worthy because of all the people and the explosives. but now the media jumps on the smaller shootings like down in Santee's. 1 or 2 deaths is not worth the media attention it gets. so here is my theory. 40,000 Black teen on Black Teen murders happen every year. These fuckers kill 3 or 4 people at a time. but does that every hit national news? no, Why because the media is bored of it. But when a white kid does it its something new.

But you have to admit that every day in some urban school yard some black or other ethnic ghetto child pulls a 9mm out and starts shooting up the playground over a Basketball game and 2 or 3 people get hit. but does this make CNN headlines?

Hell, a friend of mine in east Detroit had his house shot up in a drive-by that took out his neighbor's family. That didn't even make local news.

maybe if we'd stop bending over backwards for children;

they would learn to adapt to their situations and be able to handle things like the remote possibility that the people around you don't support your view of things
and since kids are pretty straightforward about how they feel;

instead of taking pride in your individuality you shoot the people who wouldn't let you into their group.

its school shooting season

i wrote a huge paper on this subject like last week. they all happened between lik late february and late april. many of them happened on the same day of the year. and lots of times the kids dont even have a reason y it happened; they dont even know who they killed.

its probably all for publicity. it shows a sign of weakness, because the only way they can get publicity is for doing something like that. real impressive....

I'm waiting for someone other than a white male to shoot up some place.

I don't know why these kids did it, but i am almost POSITIVE that it wasn't for publicity....

In fact, I wish the media would make MORE of a big deal about it because maybe then something would be done about it. Its already like a week or whatever later and already no one cares and everyone is like whatever. No one seems to realize that something is wrong and that it doesn't have to be this way. Some children are neglected or don't know how to deal w/ their problems and this is a last resort. Its like suicide in a different way. IT DOESN'T HAVE TO BE THIS WAY!!!!

It almost happened a few months back in San Jose. A Filipino American praised the 2 White males at Columbine and called them "Gods". He had a bedroom full of high explosives, several auto weapons, tons of magazine rounds, several shotguns. He also had a van full of shit. But the idiots plans were foiled when he took a picture of himself the day before his planned attack (Which was supposed to happen on the of the columbine) with a homemade timebomb. he took it into the 1 hour Photo deveopment at Rite Aid or Longs Drugs and the girl had freaked out when she developed it and called her father who was a san jose sherrif (What Luck). anyways the filipino guy came back to get his pictures and the girls at the photocenter stalled him till the cops came. This guy was serious. He was going to blow up De Anza College which is mostly filipino and chinese and hispanic. But he really didnt have much of a motive. He was kind of popular, was active in social clubs and events and even sports. But i was so happy when i heard he was asian and not white. Finally the stereotype was broken.
