I wan't to get a fairly nice laptop computer but i'm of limited means.. does anybody out there have any ideas on how to aquire one? i've thought of a few things, pawn shop (tried ..overpriced), flea market (cant find one), ebay(shitty and overpriced)and police auction. I think my best bet to get a good working one would be a police auction of some hackers stuff. but i don't know where or when they take place and how to get in on it does anybody here? or does anybody have some different ideas or would like to add to mine?

Pay someone to jack you one or do it yourself. Find a small store where you can see em from the window and chuck in a brick. Also bring a pair of small bolt cutters cause they're usually chained at night.
