GAP Sweatshops
Sorry for being off topic, but this is the closest thing to a human rights forum on this webpage. So anyway, what are everyone's opinions on GAP sweatshops, as well as their clearcutting in California. I am totally against it...not so much boycotting GAP, but making sweatshop conditions better. After all, the GAP has more than enough money to make reasonable working conditions for their employees.

Re: GAP Sweatshops
you know what i'm for, and this is a crazy idea, mabey we could move those sweatshops back onto american soil, gasp, and give jobs to homeless people and poor people who most would be glad at a chance to make a living, oh wait thats just a pipe dream because the fucking (insert fav corperation here) would lose 5 percent of its profits, cant have that now can we...

Re: GAP Sweatshops
There are already sweatshops in the U.S. Well within U.S. territory at least...on islands like Saipan.

Re: GAP Sweatshops
Good Point, If we did bring them to the U.S. and hired homeless and others, The country that GAP or whoever would probably bitch about losing work. Like the fucking locals that the Military on Oahu hires, Keeps up good relations with the locals while fucking over the spouses and kids who can't get any job off-base. Fucking bullshit.
