Here at TOTSE.com we get a lot of submissions, and since we now have the system working for adding submissions to the website, I thought I would write a short summary of what we look at when we add new submission to the website.

First of all, we want to hear from you. We want your article, we want to put it out there for people to see. But we do have a few guidelines for submission.

1. Please learn how to spell. This is the most common problem with submissions to TOTSE.com. We can't read them, and neither can anyone else. Use the spell check of your favorite text editor(I recommend Crypt Edit). If you think that "ur" is a word, we will not be able to put up your article. With all the submissions that come in, we simply do not have the time or the patience to edit your article to be readable. It will go right into the void. Which is a shame, because you might have something really great to contribute.

2. Check and make sure that you are not submitting something already on the website. We already have enough duplicate stuff, and we dont need to spend more time sifting out the dups. Take the title, or author, or some phrase specific to the article, and do a search on TOTSE for it.

3. If you have an idea, try to elaborate on it, not just "Dude, found a great way to do X. L8er". Submissions of less than a page should be posted in the appropriate FORUMS of TOTSE.com. Just click on "community" and select the right forum. Plus, then everyone gets to see it right away, no waiting.

4. Complicated ASCII diagrams never come out right, and files that rely on them to convey their meaning will not be added to the website. SMALL ascii diagrams can be ok, but it's a very fine line. Instead, try to elaborate on the process, clearly explaining each step, or area, or whatever. This will be much more helpful.

5. Do NOT send personal messages to either of the Sysops in the submission section.

Hey i got a website too and i just get files by mail and then post them up, but now my site is kinda slow been pretty buissy and need help on it, but anyways how does your file submission work? do you edit it by hand or do you have automatic file submission through cgi or something? I'm just wondering.

It's not just you. All posts get deleted after 60 days or so. The forums are not for stuff that you want to make available forever and ever -- if you have an article that you think has a multi-year shelf life, send it to us via "submissions".

...and new file submissions that were accepted show up on the front page. Simple as can be. So enjoyable.

This text is for the addicted gambler that doesn't feel like losing all his/her money.
The purpose of this text is to be able to place bets for football, baseball, basketball or whatever sport people prefer to bet on, without the risk of losing money if the team loses.

Whats needed:

1) internet sportbook that time zone allows game to be played while western union at his location is closed. (explained later)

2) 24 hour Western Union in your location.

3)Some type of knowledge of whatever sport you are betting on.

4) Money, preferably the max that the sport book allows on the first bet. usually $1,000-$5,000.

Now if you can't even come up with a grand, don't bother reading on. There was always a saying that you need money to make it. The only reason this is being posted is that basically enough money was made to quit.

Most internet sportbooks are offshore and in another time zone. What you do is open an account (use fake name incase you do this more than once), get the toll free number. Then they will ask you to fund your account. You do this by credit card or you use a Western Union Money Transfer. You tell them or email them that you want to use Western Union. You get the instructions for the transfer, then you call or go on the W.U. site to find out what time their W.U. closes, ex. 11:00p.m.

Next you pick a game that is playing "AFTER" their W.U. is closed. You send the money transfer to them right before their W.U. closes, ex. 10:55p.m. Then you call the sport book and notify them that you sent the transfer and give them the control number. They will track the number and see that you did send money, so they "will" let you place your bet.

Now if your team wins, the next day, inform the sportbook that you would like your winnings along with your original bet. They'll send it because they do want you to continue to play with them in the future.

If your team loses, just notify western union that you want to cancel your transfer, a small fee will be incurred, go to the 24 hr W.U. in your area to pick your money up. Now since the W.U. at the sportbook location is closed, they can't pick up the money. when they do go to pick it up, they will see that you cancelled the transfer, just disregard any emails or just deny that you cancelled. Just go find another internet sportbook or reuse the same guy after a month or so under another name.
