So if you say something like "Meet me at 2am so we can crack a can" or "I changed my cell phone's number myself" you are criminally liable. Stating "You can crack a can by doing thus-and-so" or "If you wanted to change a cell phone's number, you could do it like so" is perfectly OK. Posting passwords, calling card numbers, or credit card numbers is forbidden on this network. Posting such info will get you booted off the net. |

So &T COULD be gone by tomorrow, personally I think Jeff's account has just been commandeered by someone else. Nevertheless, you never know. So..
There's a few people in here I like, and it would be a shame to loose everyone amidst the internet, so anyone want to post their emails? Migrate to different communities, IRC etc?

It's not BS; Jeff is intending to close the site tomorrow for good. I received notice of it last night, and confirmation from Zok and Meta.
This site will no longer exist, at least as a forum-based community. Zok is making his site available for displaced Totseans at http://bbs.zoklet.net and he's getting hosting with higher bandwidth and lower latency than his existing connection. I'll probably be moving in that direction once Totse is gone. It's been nice knowing all of you, even when we were arguing with one another, or were simply annoyed by one another.
