Default Drumming stamina/speed

How do I build it?

Pretty much all I've been doing so far is putting on wrist weights and using heavy sticks, then doing a really fast roll and continuing for as long as I can.

This is only SORT OF helping.

Suggestions?

How long have you been playing? If you're only just starting out then time is the number one thing to building stamina.

I've been playing five years.

It's not like my stamina or speed is bad, it's fucking rad. When me and my friends play drums together, I always hear a lot of "Holy fuck..." when I play. Because I'm fast as fuck. Mad

But I still wanna be faster. :(

I don't play drums but a friend told me about his drum teacher who has fucking epic speed, triplets and rolls. He says his teacher spends like an hour (literally) playing the same repetitive roll slowly. Very very slowly. He takes a break, goes for water. Comes back 10 minutes later and lets it rip.

I never thought it'd work that well...Till I saw his teacher play.

Worth a shot. Try playing it for like 15 minutes or as long as you can pay attention.
