Is my friend mentally ill?

This is serious, not a troll post. Mods, sorry if this belongs in "head shrinkers"...move it there if it does, just thought since it's about my friend I would post it in S&A

Ok so my friend, we will call him Jay..used to be "normal", then our senior year he started to act "weird"..like, liking goth music, well this was weird for him because he had always liked rap..Well a a year or 2 of him dressing in black and painting his fingers black, all of our friends ditched him and I have kinda been the only one who stuck around because that's what friends do..

Well last week he has been getting too weird, he financed a coffin and has been sleeping in it in his apartment, he says he is a "dead vampire"...ok?? i'm trying to be a real friend here but I don't know if I can stick around for this crap anymore, seriously..the thing that set me over the top is, he bought like 5 mice from the pet store and completely murdered them and ate their guts..

I really wanna help my friend but im not sure how?

lol wut. yes he is mentally ill if he is eating the entrails of mice and lives in a coffin. i would have thought that was obvious. but i have a sneaking suspicion this is a troll attempt based on the rapix influx of 'vampire kids' after reading gay books like twilight and the proceeding south park episode based on mentioned fad.

Honestly, I really wish it was, but it's%20not..i'm thinking to just ditch him and let him do his own thing but then the loyalty card comes in..and please don't think im a troll because I really need advice on what to do..he has just become so weird its unreal and I am stumped on what to do.

That is what we call a "contradiction in terms". Liking rap is probably as much a sign of mental instability as sleeping in a coffin! It certainly means he is musically challenged if nothing else.

OK, in all seriousness now the 'gothic' behaviour isn't worrying. Sleeping in a coffin may seem whack but in itself it isn't a cause for concern-infact in gothic circles it is considered normal (although REAL goths wouldn't be seen dead in a coffin, let alone sleep in one).

What is worrying is the mouse thing.

Everyone knows that mice should be eaten roman style with honey and never the guts.

stab him the leg with something. explain that if here were really a vampire or whatever, it wouldn't cause him problems, but because he is an idiot he now has an extremely painful stab wound in his leg.

The post the video of you doing this. At least that way if it doesn't work we can all have a good laugh at a faggoty vampire kid getting stabbed.
