Using a fake ID in Vegas

Alright, so i'm under 21, but my family is taking trip to Vegas in a few months. I'm from Canada, so i'm not sure of the legalities of using a fake ID in Nevada. Also, i'm wondering about casino security, how thoroughly will they check it, scan it, swipe it etc? And any other details that might go along with trying this.

I have a pretty legit fake ID and I look over 21 but the only place I use it is in ghetto food and liquor stores. Any Vegas bouncer/bartender could spot a fake ID in a second.

See the thing is, I have access to a "real" fake ID. Meaning it would be me in the picture, with all the security features of a real Canadian ID. Before I was of age in Canada, I used a fake ID for years, never had a single problem, the guy only somewhat resembled me.

But, like I said, it would be me in the picture, with holograms, the whole nine yards. It would also have two pieces, so a social insurance card, or another piece of photo ID.

If you are going to use it there, which I don't blame you Las Vegas is the shit, make sure keep a confident attitude. I've seen many of my friends get turned down just because they led the clerk/bartender on to the fact that they were nervous/using a fake.

Never tried Vegas, but I used my brothers ID in Shrieveport. And one thing I noticed is that they ran it through a scanner, and were pretty through in looking me over. (I look enough like my bro to pass, but only if you don't know us.) It worked, but that scanner is designed to pick up fakes. May not help in your situation, but at least worth knowing.

On a side note, my entire family did get banned from all Sam's Town casinos for attempted theft of fire safety equipment, but that's another story. and probably would only happen if you were in my family

Exactly! Although chances are 9/10 times if you look the age you will get in fine to most places. Its a double edged sword half the time vegas wont give a shit the other half they will get ya.
