Just wondering, how many others here regret their first time or wish they'd waited for another? I never thought I would and generally saw sex as a meaningless act, but after, feel like I should have waited for a t least someone I talk to.

I don't regret a single thing. I picked the right person, but I also had a realistic attitude about the whole thing. I didn't expect fireworks and rose petals; I was just happy to be with him. I wouldn't change a thing.

Regrets drag you down....and when it comes to your first time...just accept your choices. I mean at the time it must have been acceptable or worthy in your mind. You cannot change the past so you must live with it.

also you don't have to be completely in love with the other person to have a more enjoyable time [as many state] it may make things a little better, but i didn't love the person i first slept with, and i thought it was fun, amazing, etc.

I don't regret anyone I slept with. Except for one. He was a good friend but after we fucked things got all weird. So if I could take that one back, I would.

Most of my regrets are for things that I didn't do. Especially when it comes to women. I actually tell myself not to let myself have any Kristina Behrs. Which is a reference to Catch 22's "Kristina", which I've unfortunately experienced. But we all have (probably) at some point.
