I have seen many pill heads just using a credit card or lighter and dollar bill to crush pills. I have also noticed a lot of threads here about oxy and assume that a lot of you use this method too ( I could be wrong!). Especially in lower mg pills, this way is a bitch since the powder clumps together and takes forever to get a fine powder; you may also trap oxycodone in the time release matrix.
Here is my solution: use a hose clamp. First, you need to just straighten the hose clamp out and remove the pill coating.
Next, just rub the pill up and down the rough side of the clamp like you are grating cheese. And, vuala, you have a nice fine powder to parachute and/or sniff.
Just thought that I'd throw that out there.

I thought they only used the time release matrix system for ms contin. The time release matrix is where each active molecule is encased in a wax matrix which slows the release and absorbtion of the drug.

Its a well known method Ive seen it used for years.

No, time release matrix's are used in a lot of continuous release pills. I think even some antiviral drugs use a wax matrix.

And if you want an easy way to get them they're often fastened around previously-vandalised streetlights or electrical boxes, just unfasten them with the appropriate tool and cut to the length you want :P

Why do people like to over complicate things?

A credit card or a Bic - which is what I use - it's easy and fast. I can have a line done that way long before you could grating it. Plus you need not explain having a Bic or credit card to a cop if you get stopped [and before you say anything, I have been questioned about shit on my key chain in the past...].

I've used a hoseclamp for a long time now. I usually do my stuff at home so carrying it around isn't a problem. it may be quicker to use a bic or credit card, but you don't have to worry about chunks going flying. Its also really fine so you don't have to sit and break up little chunks.

I personally use a hose clamp, but those 'foot care' grater type of things work even better. You just pull the metal grater off the handle and then you've got a prime pill scraper because it scrapes fluffy and gets trapped underneath of it, so you virtually loose none of your drug of choice. This method is becoming very popular in my area, especially for oc's and suboxone/subutex. I sometimes also use my hose clamp to grate weed for use in my vaporizer. It works quite well.

too complicated.. i just put it underneath a magazine type material paper, press around the sides so nothing shoots out and take a lighter to it. simple and effective.

well oxycontin is not one of them,though i think those generic foot bal shaped ones used a wax matrix. ms contin uses the wax matrix but they use something different for oc.

The 1 inch hose clamps are the best been using for over half a decade to make beautiful puffy cloud piles of OC use on a 80 and you'll prolly puke i did and i never puke from OC it was awesome i almost cried i was so happy! I have a big tolorence so to make me puke was a beautiful thing!
