broke it off with the old lady
i feel like an asshole for finally doing it but on the other hand there is a feeling of relief hanging over me. i havent really felt the relatonship growing at all in the last few months so i guess breaking up was a good decision. I told her i was still completely attracted to her sexually, but emotionally i didnt think we were a match that would last. she agreed saying our relationship was more a friendship where we both were attracted sexually. then she started crying and all that and i had to boost up her self esteem by talking myself down for a minute. i feel like shit because this is a girl like ive never met before but i can tell a year from now i wouldnt be in love with her.
why does it still feel shitty after knowing that Im not in love with her and wont ever be on that level? why am I still kicking myself for ending it with a genuinely awesome person? how long does it take for the old feelings to subside?

Re: broke it off with the old lady
Didnt you fuck some ho slut at a party or am i confused witg some one else. If you did, you feel guilty as you lied to her by telling her you liked her sexually when you prefered something else.

Re: broke it off with the old lady
I missed the part where you told her you cheated with some coke whore, blew a blunt hit out in her face, and then just walked out leaving her with a "later".
Because....I mean you're a badass an you do what you want, right? "I am who am leave it or like it."
Maybe on some level you realize it's your fault for the relationship being shitty.

Re: broke it off with the old lady
What's funny is that he didn't feel bad for cheating on her, but he felt bad that he broke up with her.
Conceited much?

Re: broke it off with the old lady
I don't know about you man, but whenever I feel bad after ending a relationship that I wanted to end, it's because maybe she didn't want to end it, and I feel bad for hurting her, however little I actually did. Even when it's mutual it still sort of feels shit. Maybe it's because you remember what you had but you know you'll never have that feeling again with her.

Fucking this.
Makes it so much easier when she's ready for it to end, but if she doesn't want it to end and you give her the initial "I think we are better of as friends" speech and she starts to cry and beg for you to take her back, it's so much fucking harder in addition to feeling like a big asshole afterward.

Re: broke it off with the old lady
You did the right thing. Last time I felt like this, I just had to keep reminding myself that the relationship had to end and that I don't regret not being together, just that I'd hurt that person so badly. Buck up.

Re: broke it off with the old lady
yeah i cheated but she never knew and i dont plan on tellin her. and the reason it hurts a bit is because she didnt do anything wrong but for some reason i couldnt fall in love with her. It's a little bit weak when you find someone as fine, cool, and funny as her but cannot connect emotionally. i feel bad because i knew she was falling for me and i cant fuck with those feelings I dont have. It was basically doomed but only on my half. she believed we were going to fall in love and be happy forever together.
she seems to be okay though, shes been texting me today being mature about it and what not.
but now im gonna feel bad if i charge her cash for green after smoking her out for so long... a wierd problem i never thought would give me trouble but its gonna be funny having her come over for a 1/4.
thanks for the support and laughs.

Re: broke it off with the old lady
It sucks breaking up with partners. I've broken a few hearts of girls that I wasn't interested in staying with. I'm starting to not care.

Doesn't "old lady" refer to your mother?

"I think it would be best if we went our separate ways. It would be best if you found someone else to buy from."
Not as hard as you think.
