In this thread, the intent is to gather a collection of various deeply rooted beliefs presented as hypotheses and the supporting evidences of such theories. You can be as sincere or ridiculous as would like; I don't mind.

I put forth to be tested by my evidence the following hypothesis:

I don't know shit.

To test this hypothesis, I am holding two assertions to be true:
1. If one knew shit, they would be capable of living a successful life.
2. If one knew shit, they would desire a successful life.

Evidences in support of the hypothesis:

1. I lived in a homeless shelter for a couple months.
2. I fucked my sister.
3. I lose jobs faster than I can lose your respect.
4. I am an alcoholic.
5. In spite of my intelligence and the supportive hopes of family and friends, I have yet to attend college.
6. The first woman I loved repeatedly cheated on me. She now has cancer.
7. I smoke cigarettes.
8. My career paths at present are welfare or tattoo artist.
9. I have been on food stamps 3 times in 3 years.
10. I masturbate every night to pornography of women with small tits and white socks.
11. I consider it a good day if I don't put a cinder block through a window.
12. I spit up blood due to the horrible treatment of my body the past 5 years.
13. I post on totse.

In light of this evidence; it can be concluded that I have no desire to live successfully, and further, have no fucking clue how to. As per asserted results of someone 'knowing shit', it is quite apparent that I do not.

This hypothesis, I believe, is now a theory.

Only your knowledge isn't flawed that is also subjective, someone might classify your 'failures' as successes.

The only failure I can see is that you apparently have no desire to better yourself.

I mean you've recognised your mistakes and they will be your calluses to do good if you so get motivated.

The wise have a term for mistakes, they call it experience.

You sir need only keep trying and in time you will make so many mistakes that you will know what not to do and in turn become successful.

Knowing shit? We have been in a never ending quest, scince birth, to seek something. Once we seek it, we realise we had it, and were clouded into believing it din't exist, in our temporary existance on this planet. Living successfully? Two fucking things; having money, leaving an impact, a feature on thi lanet, making it somehow diffrent, because you lived in it.
