I am looking for suggestions on laptops that I could get for under $500 roughly, something that is good for gaming, and other things.

You won't get a gaming laptop for under $500 I'm afraid. You'll have to at least double that budget to get anything halfway decent to play games on.

2nd hand but thats the only way your going to get olt decent with a dedicated card

7600go^^ fairly ample will play crysis at low res medium settings

Will also burn the fuck out of your legs when trying to play such system heavy games.

But reidy does have a point, this laptop is fairly well and you do have better chances of getting a better laptop if you buy used.
