I am prescribed concerta, and have been since I was in 3rd grade or so. Is it possible to use concerta recreationally if you have been taking it everyday for a long time?


Also, what would the approximate doseage be for someone to use it recreational that has never taken it before?

Concerta definately has recreational potential...But it's not really that great.

I forget how much I took to get a buzz off of it when I did it...120mg I think. Christ, it was so long ago I don't even remember the mg amount per pill...

Anyways, if you're going to use Methylphenidate recreationally, do Rits...But really, you'd probably be better off getting some Dexedrine.

I used to do this all the time. The easiest way to abuse concerta is to soak it in water to get the outer shell off, and then peel the inner shell. Then you parachute/sniff the white middle segment.

You'd need to get do quite a bit to get "high" from it. It isn't even worth it IMO.

go tell your doc that it doesn't have much of an effect anymore. tell em that it stopped working and ask for something new, hopefully you'll get a real fucking upper like adderall or dexamp.

If you smoke the white part of the pill once you have peeled it open it will give you a massive rush. Not sure how healthy this is, but hey I'm still alive. But then again, you're probably better off with addies.
