$99 pistol in Canada
http://www.canadaammo.com/product.ph...9&cat=0&page=1
Probably the cheapest handgun available in Canada right now. I might buy one if I can get my licensing paperwork sorted out.

Re: $99 pistol in Canada
Buy a few of them, travel across the border and sell them FTF at a gun show for 200-1000% of what you bought them for in Canada. If you're going to sell firearms today the USA is the place to be. This is probably one of the only opportunities you will have to sell firearms at such outrageously high prices.

You expect Americans to pay $1000 for a Norinco copy of a $250 handgun?

That's breaking a whole bunch of America laws. Messing with the ATF and IRS is a bad idea.

Once again the typical gun owners have crawled from their dunes to hurl their feces upon me; those who are insecure, most often physically weak and frail, those who are out for no reason other than to act like know-it-alls, those who feel the need to run their mouths as there is no one around to bust it the fuck up on the internet. Have you ever heard of "exaggerations" jackass? Yeah, a more optimal price range is 200-300%. Let's not forget what SKS's are going for these days.

Would you care to explain what laws this would be a violation of?

Importation of a Firearm? (Without the proper paperwork) I was also under the impression that you could only sell handguns in the US in your own state, though that might just be my own crazy interpretation of some laws.

Re: $99 pistol in Canada
Yeah I suppose that could be illegal but I'm certain a law like that wouldn't even be enforced if he took in to to a state such as say; Vermont and sold them immediately. It's just a matter of concealment, so as long as no one but yourself knows that they're on your property (vehicle). There's no way you would get caught sneaking a couple of Norinco made Tokarevs to sell FTF, unless you were ilovechronic or something. Besides who cares about the law with a deal that great? Oh well it's totse it's not like anyone is really going to actually do something that takes some kind of effort.

Clinton banned the importation of Norinco firearms or ammunition, you can't even bring one in temporally to hunt with. Plus importing anything to sell requires a ton of paperwork guns require even more.

Are you referring to 922r? Which is the banning of military like semi auto firearms. If it is for sporting then it can be imported. Like the saiga for example. It is an ak but it does not have a pistol grip and cannot accept high capcity magazines which makes it a sporting weapon.

That was a good move on his behalf.
Norinco manufactures fucking garbage.
They can take time proven, reliable designs, and make them into malfunctioning piles of shit. Typical Chinese manufacturing.

Re: $99 pistol in Canada
Everything I've heard indicates that moving a firearm from Canada to the USA or vice versa is an expensive, paperwork-filled nightmare. It seems to be the kind of thing that's only worth it for really expensive guns or when you have no other options.
Americans have had access to dirt-cheap handguns for a long time. Now Canadians can get in on the fun, too. Who cares if it's junk? For $99 you can beat the crap out of it, butcher it up into a franken-gun, or whatever else you've always wanted to do but didn't want to ruin a $500+ piece. It's expendable.

I owned a Norinco side by side. To make a long story short, it was a piece of shit.

Re: $99 pistol in Canada
The Norinco AKs are pretty good once you ditch the ugly thumbhole stock.
922r isn't the relevant code here. Clinton wrote an executive order banning the importation of nearly all Chinese firearms. Norinco shotguns are the only thing still readily available.

Well, I have one of their 870 clones and I like it better than my friends 500 and every real 870 that I've ever shot.
I think Thorazine has a Norinco 870 too.

I've never used any of them, but I'll take your word for it.
From my experience with the coach gun, and other reviews I've read, it's mostly bad. But it was cheap, and I got my money back.
I guess I shouldn't berate the entire company's shotguns based on one model though. Even if it is knockoff socialist sweatshop manufacturing. At least they choose good designs to rip off.

I wouldn't consider then knock-offs at all.
Because Remington is seeing the money from the sales of the NEF Pardenr series.
NEF is the importer for Norinco shotguns in the US.
NEF is owned by Marlin.
And Marlin is owned by Remington.

Where can I get one in Canada, and how much will it cost?
Even if it is knockoff socialist sweatshop manufacturing.
Do you know for a fact that Norinco uses sweatshops? I've never seen any photos of their factories.

I don't know it all. I read these forums regularly and I only post when I have something legitimate to add to the discussion. I pointed out an obvious error in your logic, which you ought to have expected considering how retarded what you said actually was.

Of course. But considering you can still buy Hi-Point 9mm compacts for $99 new, if you really wanted to sell guns on the street for a profit there is no reason to involve smuggling guns across the Canadian border.

I don't see why. I can buy an original unissued TT-33 (and they're C&R!) for $250. Why would I pay that much or more for a Chinese knockoff?
Furthermore, you sir, are a jackass.

All it did was make that "garbage" more expensive over time.
And I wish that all Norinco owners had that attitude, I could make do with a few Chinese SKS's on the cheap right now.

Re: $99 pistol in Canada
Norinco firearms aren't saturday night specials, they are made to the same dimensions and in the same manner as the original soviet models, but because they are Chinese and the tacticool guys have condemned them as they aren't overpriced this myth still floats around in the community.
