Why do people get sad over miscarages or stillborns
They're getting sad and grieving about someone who never existied I don't get it. Is it just because they were so excited and anticipating a child and then their expectation about having a child isn't gonna happen? I could understand why if it was acualy born and lived and started learing to talk and stuff and then it died, but it's just another person who was never born and never lived at all. How is that sad?

You know what?
Get laid, find some girl you really care about, get her pregnant, once the shock wears off and you start getting excited, give me a call (the phone call will be a legally binding verbal agreement the the death of your child by any consequence of my actions will be completely inadmissible in court, and I can not be charged for any death or injury that may occur to the mother, or the child(ren) she may or may not be carrying) and I'll abort the baby for you.
FUCK YOU, and get banned.

Maybe you should wait until your girlfriend/wife bleeds your unborn child out all over your sheets, then get back at us.

It's not just the females who are affected by something like that. A year before my daughter was born, my wife and I decided to start a family. A couple of months after she went off the pill she got pregnant.
2 or 3 months into the pregnancy she started to spot. A few weeks later she had a miscarriage. It upset me just as much - possibly even more - than it did her.
Losing a child is probably about the worst thing that can happen to anyone. Granted I got over it a lot quicker than I would have had been a case of losing a child after they were born, but it was still one of the worst days of my life.
It's something that someone who have no children can't quite understand - there's no way you can until you do have a kid. No amount of words can convey it either. It's like trying to describe an acid trip to someone who has never tripped. Or trying to describe what sex is like to a virgin - you just can't do it.

Wouldn't it be a bit strange if your mom was pregnant for 9 months, went to the hospital to give birth, came back empty handed and didn't give a fuck?

yeah man i agree. its not like it was a real person to begin with. do people get upset when i wank? i might have got a baby out of that, but i didnt and no one gives a fuck. and people who believe in abortion and get upset over a miscarriage are fuckin stupid, "awwww its so bad when a baby dies naturally but it's fine for me to get a human to kill it". pff, thats fucking stupid.

Re: Why do people get sad over miscarages or stillborns
I can't believe how stupid some of you are.
Imagine you are a woman and you are pregnant. A fucking human is growing inside of you. You are ready to start a family with your life partner and are psyching yourself up for 9 months to have a baby. To have a human pop out of your vagina. All you can do is prepare and hope your baby comes out alright. All you can do is imagine and wonder the type of life it's going to have. You make heaps of plans, heaps of changes to your diet and lifestyle. You make room for another life. You give part of yourself away to look after this soon-to-be newborn. All you can do is hope it's going to be happy. You have 9 months to do this.
Then what happens? You're in the middle of giving birth and the baby dies. All your expectations, all your worries, all your nervousness, every emotion you went through while in the process of making this baby gets flushed down the toilet and is replaced with utter disappointment and tragedy. Part of you has died.
but srsly ho givs a fuk

Fucked up is this story I read in the paper today. This guy, who was being sued for child support, didn't want to pay it. So he killed his 2 1/2 year old son.

Re: Why do people get sad over miscarages or stillborns
If you have never been through this like Meta said you can't understand how it feels.
Unless you have a kid and imagine them not being born.
One of my best mates wife lost a baby last month after carrying it to term and the strongest (personality and will wise)
guy I know was broken into pieces and never looks like he will be right again.
And its not after the baby is born you start bonding with it, I cant remember how many nights during the time my ex was pregnant with my son i would lay my head on her belly and just talk to him for hours and hours even before he was the size of a wallet.
And this is coming from a very heartless human being that is by all reports incapable of feeling the emotional range of a slime covered rock.
And I read that article as well Meta pretty fucked, He looked like a crackhead any way how much support was he trying to get out of?!?!!
Edit: $4,000USD Fuck me that's all his kid was worth to him not even a months wage...

So people get annoyed because it's a waste of sheets?
Why don't they just do it on the toilet or in a bath or something like that?

Bath: No, you would need to fish all the chunky bits out afterward that didn't fit down the drain. The toilet is a good idea though

I always wondered if women flushed it after a miscarriage in a toilet.

Dude, you're a pussy. Furthermore I would like to state that that act is retarded. I would never copulate with a woman(or man, but I'm not into that, although if I used protection and it would benefit me enough...) unless it would benefit me significantly and I would never do it without using protection unless she had been tested for STDs the same day and was using birth control. In the rare chance that a female became pregnant due to my actions I would do all possible to cause it's death. I would begin with a healthy dose of psychological manipulation, and if that failed move on to substances that could induce a miscarriage, and physical means if necessary. If all those failed(unlikely) and I was forced to pay for *it* then I would certainly murder it if I thought I could get away with it. Children are disgusting, only the insane and foolish would want them.

No, Can't you tell he still is a child.
Probably never even gotten his end in so he figured writing that post would at least being to make us think that he had.
Well that was a huge waste of time and effort on your part.
And as for me being a pussy, Incorrect or I would have been having the baby make sure you pay attention in sex ed when they teach you in a few years.

Yeah, I suppose so, but would there really be that many big chunks anyway?
Unless the baby is nearly done, in which case flushing it down the toilet could be a problem as well.

Flush it anyway then fill the toilet with drain-O in, that should dissolve any blockages.

So you would only be upset cause it's "gross"? Not because someone who could have grown up to be the next president died through no fault of his/her own and never got to experience the opportunity to fulfill their dreams?

Honestly, that's such a stupid argument. Why stop there, if your parents had never had sex you would've never been born. Should unprotected sex be banned? What's the bloody difference between a fetus and sperm, neither of them are really conscious or at least significantly intelligent. I won't bother arguing anymore, currently there is no greater good than cookies.

If you're a troll - it worked
If you're not - I can't possibly put into words how utterly devastating it is. It's just impossible to describe to someone that doesn't have a clue. It's awful for both partners
