I just wanted to generally discuss methods of hash making from kief you or someone close to you has tried and succeeded.

So far all I've tried is packing the kief extremely tight in cellophane, taping it, wrapping that extremely tight in grocery bag paper, taping it, got the paper wet, put it in the oven preheated at 250 F for 10 minutes, took it out and used a rolling pin with all my body weight to compress it on all sides, then put it in freezer for 20 minutes. I repeated the whole process again using new grocery bag paper. What came out was no longer powder, and quite solid. It's a bit crumbly though. It smokes well and I'm quite high, but it doesn't seem to be as good quality as other hash I buy. So I wanted to hear what you guys have tried.

From what I've heard, a good way is to put the kief between two sheets of wax paper, and use an iron on low to heat and press it.

You probably didn't heat it enough, I would imagine you need to use heat and pressure at the same time. I would imagine that's why it was a bit crumbly.
