I have been prescribed Ambien CR 12.5mg and I am looking to break the time release on it in order to snort it. Would simply crushing it also break the time release and be safe enough to snort?

I'm prescribed those yellow 10mg ambiens but I'm not sure if its CR or not.

It does have an anti abuse coating on it though so you can't crush it up at all unless you cut it in half but then it leaves a waxy layer mixed with the powder and that burns like fuck in your nose and really just falls right out.

To beat that though all you have to do is lick the pill and wipe it on your shirt.

I don't suggest getting high on this shit though, its not fun at all. Also something I've noticed from abusing ambien is that you can get a tolerance from abusing more than the prescribed amount pretty quickly (even if your not regularly abusing it) and I haven't noticed any decrease in tolerance even after not using it for a while. Also abusing it an alright amount of times will make it really hard to use it just for sleep.

I was under the impression that you weren't supposed to snort the extended release part. Ive scraped off the coating and done the normal ambien though, and its kinda fun.

And my 10mg tabs are white, not yellow.......
