 8mg Suboxone
I have an 8mg Suboxone. It's pink and says N8 on one side and has a cross on the other side. Ive heard of this Naloxone shit and dont understand how it works. Ive heard sublingual is the only way to not let the naloxone in and kill the opiate high. Is this true? Can someone please explain how it works and the most efficient way to get good effects from this bad ass looking pill? Thank you!

Lots of people sniff them. I just sublingual mine and drool on myself for hours.
The naloxone from what I understand is basically to deter/prevent abuse of the pill. (shooting/sniffing)
sub is a different ball game then other opes. IMO. start low if your small/no tollerance. try and have fun.

actually it was put there for purely political reasons. bupes affinity and the amount of naloxone in each 8mg pill makes it useless as a deterrant. you can shoot your bupe [i'd recommend not too], and snort it too [which is more potent than sublignal actually]...
i'd suggest making 8 piles of orange powder, snorting one, and waiting 30 minutes or so to see if you need another.. |

I think the nasty orange flavor and the lovely orange dye is enough a reason NOT to shoot this shit. I told my doctor that when asking him to switch me over to Subutex and he didn't seem too happy.
I've never actually sniffed Suboxone in the months I've been taking it. Something about that orange flavor in my nose is NOT appealing

The first couple times I took it when sick I got an alright buzz. The nod was VERY strong and super annoying since it lasted all day.
It seems like the strong, annoying side-effects shadow the actual buzz you get from it. |
