Yeah, NYE can sometimes be utter shit. Still, if you spend it with the right people then it's always a laugh. Gotta make sure everyone's on the same level, though.

my friend got a nice penthouse for the night in downtown seattle and he's throwin a party and we're all dressing up and i guess drinking all night.. except i have a plane to catch at 6am so i'll be having to leave early.. :(

It's always the same:

You go to a party or a pub or whatever, somebody always gets too drunk/doesnt know their limits with drugs so all the people who want to be seen as caring etc look after them, closely followed by couples arguing over some trivial shit and they think that everybody else has to hear them argue and get involved in that too, and by midnight it's just utter shit with a lot of faggots thinking they are looking cool by either being passed out/looking after someone/arguing with their partner.

Which usually just leaves me and a couple of others just there like "what the fuck, you're all faggots".

I'm doing security at a liquor store from noon to 5pm. I was offered other work later, like at a nightclub or a new years event, which would mean I would be sober around tons of drunk people, so instead I'm just going to work until 5 and then get really drunk with people at my place. Fuck money, it's useless if you don't have time to do drugs with friends.

Well my girlfriend says "new years is a drinking holiday, and I wanna get drunk"- so she convinced me to save the E and get drunk with her. Meh, X still sounds better.

Edit: And an entry fee to a rave isn't that uncommon. Huge huge raves w/ 1k+ poeple, entry fee, weapons check , security,and wrist bans aren't uncommon either. Largest I've paid tho is $6.

New years eve crept up on me.

Well since its tomorrow and I have $90 to spend on drugs (I was gonna get drugs no matter what so it NYE doesn't really mean anything lol).....

I'm probably getting 4 grams of weed either in the next hour or so or tomorrow sometime if I can't get it tonight.

Then I have $50 left and a few different things to choose from.

-I can maybe get some oxy just heard about it today and I'm still trying to figure out if thats for sure or not.
-I sort of want to get some ecstasy, but I don't think I can get it or atleast not very easily.
-Or I can get some coke, which I've been wanting to do real bad for a long ass time (since the last time I did it). I finally got the money to buy it and not feel like I'm wasting cash. I was gonna wait until saturday to get some coke just because my friend's going to be getting back into town and it will be his first time (and hes got alot of money ahaha).

Or I could just save my money but idk about that. I'm trying to get at a downer more than anything just because I've done stims the past 2 days and I feel like my hearts going to explode or something.

To Americans, a rave to them is what we would consider a club.

That, or he's one of those fuckin' annoying 14 year olds who likes to call a party a rave to make himself look cool.

Man, I haven't been to any decent raves for a long time. We used to have phat forest raves a couple of years ago, but they kind of died out. Probably something to do with money, since attendants don't need to pay. I believe there's usually about twenty people + who organise these things, all putting in about £50 for the generator, transport, etc.

Still, this isn't really the time of year for outdoor raves; can't wait until Summer!

There's a rave held fairly near me in a clearing in some woods quite often, but I've never been. I know loads of people who have gone. They sound fun as fuck.

Yeah, that's the way to do it. Ours seem to be run by dippy-hippies, though, so they're usually too spaced to move, let alone collect dosh. I'd certainly pay if someone did, however.

The climax of my night will be trying to find where the homeless shelter moved to so I can get something to eat. Haven't had anything in two days.
