Question about shrooms and medical condition
Whats up.
I have chronic pelvic pain / discomfort and stuff like hot food, acidic food, alcohol, etc. flare it up and make it even worse. It goes along with bad digestive tract that is pretty sensitive. Its been a pretty big burden on my life and I get pretty damn depressed, sometimes thinking about suicide.
Luckily weed is still okay, and actually helps the pain most of the time.
I really want to experience shrooms / acid for a perhaps more broad outlook on life, or as something to show me there is more out there. I finally have access to some and I'm wondering what kind of digestive effects they have and if you think it could cause problems. I mean other than the psilocybin would it have any irritating effects on the digestive system?
Thanks for your input. Later.

Re: Question about shrooms and medical condition
I have heard of people getting some nausea from them, but it usually passes. I'm not that familiar with shrooms so I can't help more than that sorry.

Re: Question about shrooms and medical condition
Hmm....well shrooms arent as volatile as alcohol, so I don't know if you will get the same ill-effects you would with shrooms....
But I'm sure acid wont be a problem for you, simply because it doesnt need to be digested, etc...but again I am not familiar with your condition...so take my advice with a grain of salt.
Good luck man.

Re: Question about shrooms and medical condition
Acid will be fine. I have acid reflux, and I never experienced really bad nausea with mushrooms. It's better to eat mushrooms on an empty stomach, so i'd just go for it... and if you throw up, you throw up.. you'll still be tripping as soon as you're done.

Re: Question about shrooms and medical condition
I used to have a somewhat similar ailment. I find shrooms tend to hurt the stomach, that might not be the best option. During some mushroom trips, it only lasts for about an hour or so and then I don't notice it, but during other trips it has been a real annoyance. As for acid, I can't say I associate it with stomach discomfort at all.

Re: Question about shrooms and medical condition
I have chronic pelvic pain / discomfort
Thats a symptom, not a diagnosis. What does your doctor say? If you havent been to a doctor and been diagnosed, shut up and take the drugs. If you have, clue me in and I might be able to advise you.
