Red face It really has been easier said than done

Totse, I know ill probably end up regretting coming here for advice but whatever here goes.
Im 20 years old, good looking dude, marine, smart, the works.
I was in high school when I met my ex, we had a wonderful relationship, fell in kiddie love, I took her virginity, all that good shit. Now, things got really fucked up my senior year and she started going through some hard family times and miss perfect turned into a bitch. But the thing is Ive always had a big heart so I loved her nonetheless. We break up. I join the marines, yet I think about her every single day, In the meantime ive been fucking bitches and pursuing other relationships trying to forget her blah blah blah, I come back home after 7 months of training. basic school, infantry school, mos school etc etc. and we start talking again. we get back together for about a month and I felt as happy as I hadnt been in a long time and all that faggot shit. but the thing is that she started acting like a bitch again after a while. She told me she thought about me every day as well, and all this shit but she never made any effort to redeem herself or even gave me a single apology. I deployed, got back recently and I still feel the same fucking way I did about her as when we were together, I still love her like shes everything to me, but I cant have her, so seriously, how can I forget this girl because it hurts me to think about her and the way she was before but at the same time I cherish those memories. I feel exactly the same as If she had died and I had lost her forever, but seeing her face whenever Im back home on leave, stings, I dont show it but it does. I love her more than I love killing hadjis.lol seriously, I do

She's a bitch because you don't use paragraphs.

I think she's either bitter about something you did to her, or she's become a different person since you two dated, or you never really knew her as a person but instead created your own idealized version of her that you continue to cling to, perhaps as a mental crutch to deal with the stress of combat, as if she were "the good old life you left behind" or however you want to put it. Maybe it's a little bit of each of those reasons. In any case, you need to understand that you will never have a proper relationship with her, so it's best to let go.

You should delete her from your life, and focus on your day to day living. You need to understand that the relationship you had and the girl you were with don't really exist anymore, except in your mind. If she isn't willing to put forth the effort for a relationship, and if you think she owes you an apology for something, it'll never work. So move on.

Again, delete her from your life. Continue to "fuck bitches" and "pursue other relationships." Your idealized version of her is preventing you from succeeding in your relationships, so let go of it and things will probably get better.

You have to work on it day by day. Think about her less and less each day, until you don't think about her anymore.

Move the fuck on man. She's obviously no good for you. Delete her number, and remove any contact with her. Go out and meet someone better, shouldn't be hard.

Also, stop being a cockhead.

I tried doing that and for a while it worked, when we started talking again at the beginning of this year it was because she seeked me out.. fuccking myspace. and she sends me little messages for every holiday that remind me of her

Alright, you want to know the real reason why you feel the way you do?

When you're with your partner for an extended period of time, your brain starts releasing chemicals when you're together, having sex, etc. They're feel good chemicals, as strong as any drug that you can take. When one person decided to break up with someone(and not come crawling back) they have usually weened themselves off of them. Whether they do it by mentally moving on before actually doing it I don't know. But that's why people that get dumped are almost always crushed. They're still reliant on those chemicals, so every time they tink abou their significant other those chemicals fire and they get their fix. Which is why those same people that get dumped exibit thesame symptoms as those that are going through drug withdrawl.

SOooooooo, in short that's why you can logically think one thing(you don't need her). But feel like you have to talk to her, come crawling back, etc.

Now man the fuck up, delete her from your life for a while until you're over her. Your mind is just playing tricks on you.

AND STOP FUCKING THINKING OF THE GOOD TIMES YOU FAGGOT, at least at this point, it just makes everything worse.

No worries. Hope I could help you out. It's not all emotions, just the ones that make life worse than it otherwise might be.

look. your very wrong. asvab is just for choosing MOS not for getting into a branch, now, different branches have different mos's , plus, its a bullshit test where you get around 15 points for spelling your name right and its all basic math and logic. i suggest you educate yourself a little more before you attempt to flame. and even if it was true, im a machine gunner, you know how complicated some of the weapon systems I use are?
whatever, this thread is off subject and should be deleted

Shut the fuck up. First off, I wasn't flaming you; it was a fucking joke.

Second, you're wrong. The Air Force requires a 36 on the ASVAB to enlist. The Army requires a 31, the Marines require a 32, and the Navy requires a 35.

And if you're so smart and obviously scored extremely well on the ASVAB because you can spell your name right and do basic math and logic, how did you end up as an Infantry grunt?

Yes, actually I do know how complicated the weapons that you use are. They're so complicated that every single person who has enlisted in the US military in the past 50 or so years has trained on them. Doesn't that make you feel important?

I WANTED TO BE A GRUNT, whats the point of joining the military if your gonna be an office bitch. and no not every single person trains on our weapons systems, you dont see an 0311 using the mark19 or the 50 or the 240g or b variants, same shit for mortarmen, tow gunners, assaultmen, etc etc etc. so yeah it does make me feel important, I love my job, I love being a grunt and I love being a 31. damn you are simpleminded arent you?

Those two words make me doubt. The only Marines I know that happen to be smart, are in the ones in the intel field, and they don't get to sit over there and shoot insurgents. For the most part, almost NO ONE gets to shoot insurgents unless they're either ambushed, or they're on a strike team. QED /thread.

Oh, man up pussy. This is life.

This girl did her homework. Sad that a member of a sister branch doesn't know that (Marines, what can I say?).
