I have some concerta pills (36 mg each). How many should I take to get high? I have no tolerance and I weigh 250 pounds. Also I read that they were time release. Does anyone know how to make it not do that? Lol

Concerta is time released ritalin, however its alot harder then just crushing up the pill and snorting the powder. First you have to cut off the outside shell (Its hard, your going to need a razor or a good pill cutter), then discard one half of the inside (I forgot which part is the actual Ritalin, the other half is just binders and time release). I believe the white part is the Ritalin and the yellow is the garbage?(Dont quote me on that, im probaly wrong). There is a good guide out there for preparing this, site doesnt come to mind at the moment though.

But in general, Ritalin sucks, use it for cramming test/studies; its a shitty stimulant with an even shitter comedown, you've been warned

Hey. My ex girlfriend has a regular prescription to 36 mgs and I can tell you this: They will keep you awake. Like 12 hours no sleep. We used them in college to stay up studying. And such. But yeah anyway, if your not being kept wide awake and given lots and lots of energy for twelve hours, you probably actually.. do need them.

Concerta is shit, your best bet is to just swallow 4. It is such a pain in the ass to snort and can give you a headache that lasts until it wheres off.

There is also a second translucent layer under the dark layer. I think the useless half is the darker half (possibly green) that is visible once the first layer is peeled off. The useless part will not crumble up, but to check the translucent layer must first be removed. Bits of the powder half (methylphenidate-containing) will stick to the translucent layer and to the end of the useless half. Snorting it is somewhat unpleasent.

i take concerta

27mg
and
54mg (i think its around their)

i weigh around 150

i took both last night, stayed up ALL NIGHT
then at around six a.m. i took:

1- 27mg w/ out time release coating(TRC)
1- 27mg w/ TRC

then, at about ten, i took a 54mg w/ TRC
i forgot i was gonna take it off

idk if i need it or not, but i probably do.

taking of the coating is easy:
take any knife worthy of whittling(sp?) a stick
take the knife to the side of the pill and slide the blade down (as if you were peeling bark off a stick w/ it or peeling a potato)

then, if you have thin finger nails like me and are long enough to "hook" a little under the "plastic-ish" coating and peel off.

if you dont got finger nails use the tip of the knife or a little screw driver.

i have never snorted concerta

i do not know weather or not their is a clear thin layer to scrape off or not as a poster above described, but i was focused as fuck about ten minuets after i took the concerta that i removed the TRC from.

so if theirs a layer, i dont think it matters, esspecially if your crushing to snort.
