I used to have friends, but they all fuck you over eventually so i've learned to just use them to my advantage. I trust my close family and hang out with them mostly. I'm not anti-social at all, or weird, or anything. I used to be REALLY anti-social. In retrospect, people were reaching out to me to be my friends and I was a jerk, so I basically rejected them. Then I realized that was a really retarded and mean thing to do, and that I was gonna be friends with everyone. So more recently, I've been really friendly to everyone.

But now it's kind of flipping back, and I'm realizing that even if someone is really nice, it doesn't mean they're fun or interesting, or someone I could really be friends with. Also, a lot of my semi-friends are turning into total tools.

How about you? Are you the classic totsean who hasn't seen natural light in years, or do you actually have friends?

In highschool I had tons of friends but now that I work full time and have an apartment and things to take care of, I can't be spending all my time socializing. I still hang out with my good friends from hs but only about 1 or 2 times a week.

I wish I had a job where I worked with more people. I'm a driver so it's just me and the open road. Kinda lonely.

For those reasons, I seemed to get on with most people, for example there was a group of fairly popular people at school, a few of which I got on with very well, as I was in their classes, they learned that I was a good laugh, although originally just ignored me, as a result, they speak to me if I see them, where as other friends of mine they wouldn't speak to at all. I played sport so got on with most of the sports people, and got reasonable grades at school so could communicate with nerds as well.

I seem to be able to make new friends very quickly, that's come in the last few years though, I wasn't amazingly confident a few years ago, especially talking to older people, now it makes no difference.

I have a lot friends, but I don't know who I'd call my best friends, as I don't hang around and talk to people for hours, nor do I hang around with people on a daily basis, I enjoy being alone more often than not, but when I go out and meet friends I'll usually see a shitload of people I know.

Most of the people I've known as best mates have either moved away or gone to do other such things with their lives, which has led them away from me, I see these people now and again and have a great chat with them, and I've made plenty of new friends in the meantime.

I don't get too attached to anyone though, I certainly don't miss people.
