Quick Poppy Pod Question
Basically, to save time, would it be possible to literally eat the dried pods?
I mean i'm not even talking mixing them with a meal or anything- all i'm asking BLTC, is: by eating the pods raw, would the delicious opiates on the pods be able to be absorbed just as well as any kind of water-based method of opiate extraction?

There's a thread in Lab Tips about this it's called opium to morphine. As for more simple, I wouldn't eat the pods. They might have water-insoluble nasties in them. Tea is more common, but it will extract better if you make it at low temperatures with thorough stirring and some citric acid (lemon juice). But poppy pods are intended for arts and crafts, so don't do it. lol.
