Better Living Through Chemistry Discussions of any and all sorts of mind-warping chemicals, pills, booze, mind machines, trippy stuff, current street prices, importing pharmaceuticals, smart drugs, nutrients, herbs, and altered states. Default Antiemetic's... WHICHINS TO USE?!

I'm making another batch of ayahuasca for my girlfriend and I to ingest.

I was wondering what the best anti-emetics would be to use prior to this experience..

All my previous experiences I havent wretched, but I am worried that she will.. Will dramamine sufficiently counter-act the nausea?

I also have promethazine tablets.

Promethazine is a potent anti-emetic but from what I've read you're going to be hard-up to avoid puking on the brew regardless. I'd try anyways, though; dose her with about 50 mg an hour or so prior to ingestion and keep a few more 50 mg doses on hand for PRN.

ok thanks.

I think i have only enough for a 50 mg dose prior.

BUt that should be enough to control it until the effects take over and if a purge happens it wont be the worst thing in the world.

Thats part of the healing process anyway

Yeah, promethazine can be annoying to get ahold of sometimes.

I swear by meclizine, which is fully OTC.
