 Huh?
My guy who always gets the best herb in my town just got some good shit from his guy. His guy said it was purple kush. The only thing is it isn't, but that isn't what I'm confused. This shit smells like hay, yet it gets me high off one bowl (I have a fairly high tolerance cause I smoke everyday). I was raised thinking that danks reaks like a skunk, or some really earthy stuff. My whole perception of marijuana has been thrown off. Has anyone ever got any herb like this?

Some of the best weed iv had hasnt had much of a smell and some of the worst has smelled skunky as fuck. Sometimes looks, feel and smell are just not as reliable as you think to judge weed.

In the future, if you made a better title, you could save a possible thread lock possible]. Try to give us all a clue as to what the thread is to be about. "Huh?" doesn't tell us shit.
As for the weed you got, there isn't much I can add that hasn't already been said. Unless you know the grower - and not even always then - or buy from a medical pot coop, there's not way to know for sure what strain you have. It's easy for street dealers to see something with some purple in it, for example, and decide to say it's Granddaddy Purple or Purple Urkle or something.

Sorry about the thread name. Yeah I usually know if it isn't a certain strain especially kush, I have a lot of experience identifying herb. He always tells me too because he knows. The thing is even though his guy isn't always straight with the strains, he's straight with how good it is. This stuff just really throws me off, this is the first time something like this has happened in my years of smoking. Thanks for all the helpful replies though. |
