So im planning on going to my first rave on new years... from what people are saying it sounds like its going to be pretty crazy, apparently though the people throwing it said something along the lines of "we encourage and enforce a drug free environment" and i thoroughly intend to be on one or several things that night, so is that a typical thing for legal purposes and they really don't give a fuck? most music festivals say no illegal substances but at most no attention is payed to the people on or selling drugs.

Will shit still be pretty easy to find despite it being discouraged, we are dry on rolls here at the moment.... Ketamine is non existent and i hear its decently common at raves... I know buying shit at raves is just about asking to be ripped off with bunk shit but its probably the best i can do at the moment short of getting some acid. Still thinking about doing a hit or two for it...

I've never been to a rave because the ones around here that I even hear about are lame, but it makes sense that more drugs are going to be available at a rave than at some other places.

It is normally said that drugs are discouraged at raves, there will be plenty of drugs though, don't even worry about it.

Its a rave... There will be drugs unless one day somebody has the idea of a christian rave. Promoters almost always condemn drug use at their events but that doesnt mean the ravers will, shit I bet half the promoters, security, DJs and MCs will be on drugs if not selling them too.

You will find drugs at the rave, but your best bet would be to take them in with you. And whatever you do, be careful about where you take them. One of my old dealers was at a rave back in the day, and was taking a bag of pills out of his pocket as he was walking into the bathrooms. There happened to be two undercover cops who saw him and dragged his ass out and arrested him on the spot.

In my experience if you absolutely cannot get anything beforehand, go into the bathrooms and talk to anyone you see that's obviously on/doing something. As far as I'm concerned buying drugs in a rave is just asking to get ripped off, though.

true that, we have something called "schwagstock" here and it's basically out in the middle of the woods hippy rave type thing and i've bought bunk acid 2/2 times there and bunk rolls like 3/5 times. it used to be a bunch of sincere hippies with good quality drugs but after my generation took over it's now a bunch of scheming wiggers with money on da mind cuz dey gangsta gangsta

Which rave are you going to? TAO? If so, then don't worry about it everyone is high and so is the DJ. It is a fucking rave, are you seriously that dumb to have to ask this question? There is no one that is going to be sober at TAO or any other rave. 90% of the people will be on an illicit drug other than marijuana/underage alcohol. The other 10% are drunk and stoned.

You will get searched when you go in becasue the DJs there are high profile. Just tape a bag to your dick or get a girl to bring it in.

Buying drugs isn't hard, and they aren't going to be shitty drugs just over priced.

The only real raves now a days are in California, btw.

You've got bad Karma or something, then. I went to 37, and before I even parked I had DMT, some great L from some Lotus kids and headdies. We ended up finding damn near pure MDMA, K from a guy who cooked it himself, all the mushrooms we could eat, good coke, basically everything you could ever want. The real hippies are still there. They're all screaming "Happy Schwag!" and hugging people.

The only thing that sketched me out was the fact that on the second day, they brought in extra security that had different uniforms, and all the guys looked like cops/military.

Drugs aren't hard to smuggle in to parties - socks or tape to dick. You're better off getting some before you go in. Definately ket, coke or mandy. Never buy wraps without inspecting it.

At the moment (in England anyway) there seems to be a social stigma with ketamine at raves. Not sure if this is true in America but you do occasionally get assholes that beat people up who are wonked out on ket just because they're on ket. Watch out for that.

If there's security and all that I assume there will be stands to buy drinks. At Slammin' Vinyl events I go to you can usually blag it by going over to them and act well fucking mashed, like sprinkle water on your face and work that jaw as well then go over and ask for a cup of water for free because you have no money. This works for me. If you look like you're doing to OD at any point they probably won't turn you down. Jus make sure you look very, very messy.

Also take your own chewing gum and stash it in your shoes. Most events I go to they confiscate it and make you buy some in there.

Take it your a regular at slammin events? Did you go to Westfest? From what I gather the rave scene here is completely different here to over in america. At raves over here your looking at over priced tickets and drinks, a long wait in line and a fairly brutal search. As far as I know its a lot more relaxed over there as the events tend to be a bit more underground.
Why would you need to go through all that to get a glass of water anyway? Every event iv been to if you take a bottle to the bar they will fill it with water for free, either that or use the taps in the toilet.
Iv noticed the stigma behind ket too, personally I hate the stuff but I dont impart my dislike of the drug on other people. Iv never understood it as a rave drug as it seems to have the opposite effect to what you would want at a rave. I find it kinda weird when everone is raving away and the guy next to you is completely motionless just gazing into space with a blank expression on their face. Either that your you walk to the back and round the sides and you got a tonne of people just laying there staring into space. I think the beatings is just the usual little rudeboy/chav bastards you get at a lot of big events just looking for trouble and robbing who just see someone on ket as helpless when they are laying there oblivious to what is going on around them and beat the shit into them/rob them rather than for their views of drug.

If it's a rave, drugs will be there. Just be on the lookout for bunk shit.

you need a bigger network of friends if you cant find drugs when you have a whole week to find them.
