If 10-20mgs is the maximum dose a newbie should take without od'ing, what amount do they take the next day? If they take another 10-20 mgs there should be 20-40 mgs still in their system right? I mean a day later is when you start coming down right, I dont get it?

methadone has a long half life like 15-60 hours or something like that so if you never taken it id say start with 20 mg the first day and 10 the next and go up from there.

For the most part. I've seen friends take 120mg at a time, and not die, but come close. Whatever you do DO NOT MIX NERVE PILLS WITH IT! You will die if you do that, so don't take any nerves for 5 days or so after you take the last dose of the methadone.

But to answer you question, in my opinion, I'd do 10, see how it effects you, then take 20 the next day if you wanna do it bigger, then stop for a few days, otherwise you don't wanna get addicted. methadone is like that, do it a few days in a row and you're hooked.

methadone sucks unless you are an opiate addict in need of avoiding withdrawls.. dont take that shit for recreation go return it for some real opiates..

Yea you probably shouldn't redose the next day, wait a few...and start with 5-20 milligrams--remember you can always take less......but not after to already dosed. Be careful.

Yeah, xanax, klonopines, that stuff. Most people here don't call them benzo's so I call them nerves like everybody else, it's a regional thing, I live in redneckville, after all.

The reaction when mixed with methadone basically kills you if you mix to much. It can slow down your breathing, among other things, to the point you don't, and thus asphyxiate to death

30mg isn't a huge dose, but not recommended for a beginner. That's what I'm saying though, if you take 10 the first day, see how that treats you, if it gets you off, then wait a few days, take 10 more. However, if it doesn't, take another 10 or 20mg. If you have a full 24 hours in between doses, you wouldn't have a pure 30mg in your system, but somewhere between 20 and 30, due to your body getting some of it out as waste.

ive mixed methadone and xanax lots of times, not at a high dose tho, and i never felt in danger.

but yea your right ive heard those stories before how dangerous it is.

prolly cause i have a tolerance and it wasn't a strong dose it was just 20mg methadone with 2mg xanax.
