Question on Poland
Hey, I'm in Poland for Christmas and, since its perfectly legal, according to the unconfirmed erowid detail, to get up to 10mg of codeine OTC (making the canadian 8mg very laughable), I figure I'd do some Christmas shopping for myself.
If there's any fellow Polak here that can recommend me a certain brand name (or names), or perhaps if not a brand then certain key words I should include in my question, I would be eternally grateful.

Re: Question on Poland
It would combine itself with the many other 10mg particles I placed in a tub of warm water, then it would get cool in the fridge, get filtered, and would enter my stomach as an off-clear liquid containing about 25 particles of 10mg each... then it would calm me the fuck down while I quit smoking cigarettes.
Ahhh! THE POWER OF MATH! OOOOO! SCARY!
Also, I'd like to test out my little theory on increasing the Codeine to Morphine metabolic process via increasing my tolerance to piperazines (increasing the amount of enzymes that do the whole metabolism thing), so it would either prove to disprove my hypothesis.

really? are you going to take your question back and replace it with something like step by step instructions on a CWE and the .... (get your handy dandy notebook out; here comes the big word) .... RATIOS?
Maybe you can fill me in on the *TOTAL* codeine content, or perhaps the (here it is again) RATIO of codeine to the acetaminophen (in case the math is too much and you need to leave the calculations to me, since I guess you're only better at math than my ass, as it is really just an animal).
or better yet, since this thread is obviously not a question for you to do homework for my ass, perhaps you speak Polish or know a few brands due to a useless trivia game?
...and... just for offensive purposes, I must include this quote:
what would 10mg even do?
and also continue to laugh.

Does tolerance really increase the number of enzymes? Isn't it just downregulation of the receptors?

Re: Question on Poland

I'm definately sure of the downregulation of receptors, but there might be something enzyme related. Something like the metabolic cross tolerance between alcohol and barbituates, alcohol affecting GABA and that other receptor while the barbituates enter the cell and screw with the mitochondria and basically affect the overall metabolic process of the cell right at the core.
My theory is that if enzymes do in fact play a part in tolerance to piperazines then I should be able to get a noticable morphine high from a relatively small dose. And, since I went through quite a few bottles of T4s during the weeks that I had strep throat and my wisdom teeth removed (two impacted, the other two got infected enough for it to spread to my throat), as well as the countless Oxies I abused, I should have enough of a tolerance to make getting high off of codeine a challenge unless I had some potentiators. And since I'm not going to try my pepper idea (mostly due to the fact that spicy foods upset my acne like anything upsets a smoker) I figure I might as well do some research on some chemicals.
Also, I have a gram and a half of TFMPP to go through... if you have any idea what the headache is like...
I'll gladly post some results, I just can't figure out which brand to as for at the pharmacy and its not like they have the stuff on display like all the cough and cold meds in an american pharmacy.
I still have to walk up to the pharmacist and know what to ask for. Last time I was at a European pharmacy I asked for cough meds for a dry cough, I had a legitimate cough and it was seriously getting in the way of my studies and in the way of everyone else's studies, as well as my own sleep. The pharmacist said "try this" and handed me a bottle of "Bronchiplant" brand cough syrup and I asked "will this work?" and she said "I hope so." and I googled the ingredients and got descriptions such as "has been used for ages to treat all types of bronchial problems" which sounds a lot like the ol' catnip tea story... "has been used to treat insomnia for ages", but has it worked? ...I hope so. Ages is a long time and therefore could mean a LOT of lost hours of sleep.
...even in a Canadian pharmacy, I have to go to the damn independent ones because "Shopper's Drugmart" doesn't carry tylenol 1s in ANY of their locations... and they always seem to have to ask the manager as if he was a lawyer.

Re: Question on Poland
Those extra 2mg of codiene per pill arent exactly much to get excited about. Thats like and extra 64mg in each pack compared to the usual 8/500 pills...
Is routinely taking piperzines really really worth the small possibility of reducing opiate tollerance/increacing the codiene-morphine metabolisation? That shit is fucking horrible, just doesnt seem worth it for the "rewards."

Re: Question on Poland

To be honest... 8/500 seems a little extreme. The worst I've had was 8/300 with 15mg of caffeine (also easily reduced with a modified CWE).
I'm not looking to get high off a standard dose, I'm looking to see if I can get a high out of a particularly low dose as I've been binging out like crazy on BZP just to stay awake during the day on weekdays and most of the weekend. The theory is that I should be able to get high off a strangely low dose of codeine, which I purchased for an amazingly low price in POLAND =D
...so the question still stands, anyone know any brand names? or is everyone here just a bunch of math tutors. How about a change of topic... lets play trivia... WHAT IS A BRAND OF CODEINE CONTAINING MEDICINE IN POLAND!

Re: Question on Poland

No, but since I've already gone so far as to use piperazines in non-high doses (relative to my piperazine tolerance) long enough to build an amazing tolerance to them, I figure its worth killing two birds with one stone. (The piperazine binge I posted under the most fiendish things u've done to get high thread)
....I could take 200mg BZP with 80mg TFMPP and still sleep the same day without any sort of sketch.
An opportunity is an opportunity, what's not worth it is wasting this opportunity that I've unintentionally created just because intentionally creating this opportunity just for this purpose isn't worth it.
Besides, what if I just happen to have found a way to change that codeine to morphine metabolism ration from 10:1 to something like 10:7 ?
....it would make coming down off of piperazines pretty smooth and rewarding in itself.

8/500 is what we get over here in the Uk, doesnt really make any difference if its 300 or 500mg APAP when it comes to the CWE as most of its coming out anyway. Caffene on the other hand we dont get so I guess that makes things easier. Cant help you with the branding, over here we get allsorts but I usually just ask for co-codamol and get the cheapest generic (really fucking cheap!)

Nah, too late for me as I'm no longer in high school. Your goal should be finding a date for prom. I wish you an astronomically great lucky break and I hope you're not too fucked up on your ibuprofen to be nice to the guy that asks you out.

Re: Question on Poland
V Pol'she Paracodol-a net?
This is the most reasonable post I've seen in BLTC EVER.
Thank you.
Unfortunately there is no paracodol in Poland, its in the UK, but maybe I can order some over the internet.
...good job on speaking Russian in another alphabet. o.O
....and as for my hypothesis, receptor downregulation decreases the intensity of the effects where as enzyme related tolerance causes the comedown to come a lot sooner and same for withdrawals as well as any other symptoms of having heightened enzymes and no extra drugs for them to break down (decreased levels of whatever substrates).

Re: Question on Poland
Since my vomiting blood on my last extraction...I leave it alone.
From the reading I did: ASA seems to be less soluable than APAP? Thus I can't figure out why people always go for the APAP. Is there some reason people prefer APAP? Doesn't more of it stay in the solution? Is it less likely to cause stomach bleeding even with more of it being ingested?

Actually, that's exactly what I'd expect to raise a lot of suspicion as I am not old and wrinkly and therefore automatically raise suspicion.

Young people injure themselves too you know..
If you know the polish word for apap maybe ask for something a little stronger, just because your a young foreign person who can hardly speak the fucking language doesn't mean you don't know how much pain you're in.

Yes, but plenty of people in Poland like scams and to be bribed just to motivate them to offer the minimum expected service. I've bought Valerian extract in Poland once before and I had to drink the entire bottle just to feel relaxed, compared to the fact that I fall right asleep after even less than one of the three recommended doses (just to feel relaxed throughout the day) of Austrian Valerian extract.
There's a pretty damn good reason behind knowing exactly what to look for in Poland.
