Italy has more than one mafia, yes la cosa nosta is one of the most well know, but it is not the biggest. The biggest mafia in the world is from a place called Calabria in Italy.

The Calabrian mafia is also called the 'Ndrangheta.

If you know an Italian from Calabria, specifically the Reggio region, the chances are they are in the mafia or at least their family is in the mafia.

If you want to join an organised crime group, your best bet would be the 'Ndrangheta because they have be known to work with asians, albanians etc, basically anyone.

Although of course you will probably never make it to the top of the 'Ndrangheta (in your region/ district of the world) or even anywhere close to it.
