diazepam
Well I had a good dose of diazepam and the next day my speech was a little bit sloppy and incoheriant (specialy when I talked quickly) a little bit. Anyway to prevent this? I was thinking drink some coffee of something when I notice it coming on. Thanks.

No, the only way to prevent this is to change your benzo or take a smaller dose; no ammount of caffeine or any other substance is going to help you here. Valium has a fucking long ass half life, which means your still 'feeling it' the day after (common with klonopin too). Either cut your dose a little bit or change to a much shorter acting benzo( xanax, ativan, etc.,)

Re: diazepam
I've managed to remain fucked up after a single large diazepam dose for literally days at a time. Klonopin, too, but not to such an extent. Granted we are talking about diazepam doses of like 200 mg+...

Did you not sleep for like a day on a dose like that? I can imagine myself being blacked out for a long ass time taking that much.

Re: diazepam
I dunno, in my experience, klonpin has lasted longer than valium for me. Hmmm

Tolerance is a motherfucker. 120 mg of Valium just meant I was going out to run some errands or something.

:D The only practical way to control that, OP, is to take less of a dosage, experiment with lower dosages until you find the one that's right for you! :D :o
