Has anybody else smoked oxys in pill form on tin foil? Everybody where im from used to snort it, but it got around that smoking it is better. Nowadays if someone has some oxy, theyre smoking it because of the immediate rush.

Of course its not meant to be smoked, but it gets you more fucked up. People use a tube(usually from a pen) and freebase it. After doing it a couple times your tube will be crusted with residue on the inside. When people are in a pinch(and fiending out) they scrape that flakey residue onto the foil and smoke that too. Its basically like b tar but doesnt taste like throwup and gets you MUCH higher.

the peak is higher but the duration is a little shorter only because it kicks in faster. if you are afraid of wasting a pill, just peel the time release and cut 20% off. As you put the lighter under the foil, the piece of pill will slide down the foil(because youre holding it at a slight incline) and you follow the trail whilst inhaling the smoke. DO IT PEOPLE. this isnt some experimental kid shit. People have been doing this, not everybody knows about it.

If someone were to freebase the oxy (and no, freebase doesn't mean vaporize on foil through a pen tube, it means convert from salt to fucking freebase), and extract it out of the OC pills, AND THEN smoke it, that would be a great idea.

However, by smoking the hydrochloride salt (and all the fucking binders) you are actually wasting precious oxy, and also putting alot of bad shit in your lungs.

Now what would be interesting, is to see if the increased bioavailability of smoking oxycodone compensates for some of the oxycodone HCl destroyed from the heat...interesting...

No, it's not placebo, but it's not efficient either. I'm sure you do get a nice rush from quicker-than-IV absorption (literally), but you are undoubtedly wasting some oxycodone by burning the salt.

I've got a friend who used to smoke heroin occasionally and never had a problem but after he smoked his first bean he was a junky in under a month. Its an amazing but short and wasteful high

But anyway there used to be a thread about smoking OCs on here every week. I was actually wondering recently if people had finally stopped wasting oxy like that.

It got so common that SN actually posted a writeup on how to truly freebase your OC.


Heres a little something from my personal drug archives:


Freebase morphine and oxycodone will not decompose at their melting points. There is something like awww, fuck, another 100 degrees C until decomp. Basing is easy.

Add NaOH to water, add pill mass, stir a bunch, keeping it cool. Then add a good nonpolar solvent like ether, and shake it really well. You could add table salt to help push some of the base out of the lye solution. Seperate the polar and nonpolar layers, and then evaporate the nonpolar layer until you have a scent free oil like substance. Then, take that, and put it in an oil burner, aka chicken bone aka glass dick, whatever, and smoke it as you would any other freebase.

As for amounts, you want to use as little as possible for easy of evap and working with it.

For the lye solution, just keep adding it until its saturated, then add about .25 the total volume of water to it, to ensure you don't get any pure NaOH in there.

For the ratios of nonpolar to use, just check and MSDS for the freebase forms miscibility in ether, or whatever nonpolar solvent you choose to use.

I suggest against naphtha since it has higher boiling point distillates in there, and you end up with a more viscous yield, since some of those oils are left behind because of the high BP, contaminating your product.

It is more for novel use than anything. If you are fine with using IV I suggest you stick with that. If you have the extra dope, and extra chems, and extra time to fuck around and try something new, go for it, but don't have your expectations too high.

Smoking the salt form ALSO works, but not NEAR as well. A huge waste IMHO.

Theoretically, couldn't one crush oxy pills up, dump into cold water until soluble, make water hot add salt to precipitate, filter 3x, add NP, murry boil to base, seperate NP, clean solution again and evap/ or pull OC solution out of dry NP with cold water again, decant, evap ? = smokable pure(or around there) oxy?

Again, no research put into it, just throwing an idea out...

I live up in the northwest (washington) and everyone around here smokes beans. it's really only in the northwest and has become a huge phase the last couple years. Because a lot of you havn't tried it you wouldn't know what it's like. I thought the same shit when i saw people doing it my first few times but quickly found out how addicting it is. It's more of the mental thought of wanting to smoke it which makes even worse. Other oxy smokers know exactly what im talking about and would agree you have to try it before making conclusions.

sure it's insanely addictive but what opiate isn't?

the high isn't THAT short (an hour and a half or so) and for me the only way I can get a true floor sinking rush is by smoking an 80 on some foil, hold the hits in long as you can.

it isn't wasteful for me, i've done a lot of OC, I get em at $15 per and sell em at $40 so I have more than enough to experiment with and I tell you I can snort 80mgs and get a slightly less euphoric rush - but a rush just the same - but it only lasts 25-30 minutes.

when I eat them orally it lasts a couple hours but there usually is no rush and if there is it's very very shortlived.

smoking 20mgs of OC gives me the same effect as railing 80mgs, and lasts longer. (probably best to do this after eating some now that I think about it, I'll try that right now)

i'm fully against smoking pills and hate myself for doing it because those pills weigh .3 .4 and theres only 80mgs (not even a .1) of actual OC in them but... it's just the best ROA short of using a needle IMO

for you it takes an 80 but when you first start it hits hard off very little but builds your tolerance like shooting does and you have to smoke an 80 like within a matter of weeks. that's what makes it so fucking addictive. and you stay high an hour and a half from smoking them damn son I'm jealous. Benzo work snorting. A few years ago rizzo did a big study on it and had research to back in up. Just do it and get back. The fact on smoking OC is that its fucking nasty and wasteful, and you are smoking tons of binders that can be harmful if not deadly when smoked.

No pharm company would have any reason to do this. If you made a pill from freebase oxy then you are still smoking the binders you would need to use.

I got a couple whys. Why would you smoke oxy's when snorting them works so well, and for a long moderate buzz, eating them is not that bad. Or you could parachute it which is the best way in my opinion. And why is this thread still going on, smoking oxycontin, or any pill is not a good idea, it's actually quite stupid unless you take the time too extract the contents and leave that wax and fillers behind. But once again, it's so much easier doing it the conventional ways.

I used to smoke OC's on occasion and its a good buzz. But truthfully, I'd rather just snort the fuck out of it.
