I live in england so obivously we have different weed over here but i smoked 3 oz in about 2 hours, thats when i used to sell it so money wasnt a problem.

I never understood why "more=better" in terms of smoking weed. Ive always gotten as high as I need to of less then 2 grams; the most intense high I ever experienced was after cashing 2 bowls in a waterfall bong, I was so high it was hard to move because I felt like I could feel the nerve endings sending electrical impulses throughout my back and neck.

But then again I am only a daily smoker on occasion, other than that I toke maybe 1-2 times a week, taking week long breaks in between...so my tolerance isn't very high. :)

i dont see the point in smoking ounces in a short period of time; although if it was legal/almost free i would try a large amount at least once.

most of the time im satisfied with a small amount like a small ciggerete sized joint or a small bowl because im when i get high im always doing things spiritually/intellectually engaging and being to high is a constraint.

Smoked an eighth blunt with my dealer and then left, came back an hour later for more pot and ended up staying there for the night while my friend kept buying dub sack after dub sack. Plus the people there were matching us bowl for bowl so it was a pretty good night.

Got through a total of 3/4oz between 7 people in something between 3 and 5 hours (my recollection of time is somewhat hazy), during which time there was literally always at least one spliff on the go. Definitely in the top 5 of 'most stoned I've ever been'.

I do know two guys that rolled an ounce into a huge spliff (it was something like a foot long), but that lasted them a week. They even marked off day intervals on the side. Really, 2g of high-grade bud is more than enough to get one person very, very stoned over a few hours. 2g of mid-grade is more than enough to get one person very nicely stoned over a few house. As far as I know weed quality in the USA varies really widely compared to in the UK though; I've never smoked anything remotely close to ditchweed/schwag/whatever you call it that takes an eighth to get a half-decent buzz.

Not much. I'm not a big smoker, so maybe half a gram. I'm also a huge light weight and I start to get really paranoid when I get really stoned so I smoking until I'm high and then stopping for a few hours until it starts to wear off.

Nope, I was talking to the guy who smoked 3oz. Getting high off a quarter-gram just means you've got bomb bud. And thinking about it, 3oz is 50 spliffs at the very least, and it'd take forever to burn through in a bong or pipe. Another reason I doubt his claim; you'd have to be smoking non-stop to get all that weed in you.

I live in England too, and good weed to me is weed that gets you stoned off less than half a gram. I've heard that American weed ranges from amazing (Cali-bought medical marijuana) to absolutely shit (ditchweed that grows wild and gives you more of a headache than a buzz). English weed is generally pretty decent quality, lots of standard homegrown mid-grade bud and occasionally really good high-grade if you know the right people. I've had what was apparently Cheese, Thai, AK, Kush, Blueberry and Purple Haze that I recall... mostly you don't get it by name though, just 'high-grade'. There's a lot of orange bud around at the moment. I've never come across shitty weed here.

That's pretty similar-looking to the bud I've got at the moment, except the green parts are slightly darker on my bud and it's more compressed (like somebody sat on it for an hour). Most of the stuff I get here is similar to that, varying degrees of orange and occasionally purple through it and mostly crystalline green.

That's also pretty much the exact amount I've got left of my bud :(
