Sounds terrible. We've had that happen at the store I work at occasioanally and we've had the police go and pay them a visit.

Re: would this be a bad idea? ordering a pizza
That is the stupidest shit ive ever heard.
You want to call a company, give them your name and address, and then rip them off. Are you fucking retarded?
Do you think the pizza guy will:
A) Pay for your pizza out of his pocket, or
B) Go back to work and tell them "Hey this guy I just delivered to stole the pizza. We should call the cops and tell them his address."
Besides, if you came up with an idea this fucking retarded I bet you're about 12 years old and couldn't pry the pizza from the guy's arms if you're life depented on it.

Re: would this be a bad idea? ordering a pizza
We had a very 'ghetto' house I would deliver to atleast once a weekend. No matter who the driver was they would always pay exactly what was due on the pizza (if the total came to $10.45 they paid $10.45, no tip, EVER). It was clear they knew what they were doing; they would often joke about how the driver lost money ever time they had to deliver to this place. Anyways, one time they were a dollar short. I told my manager about this when I got back to the store and he called the police on them. Not sure what happened after that, but that house has never ordered since.

Yeah it would be very smart because they would have your phone number and your address. Its a brilliant plan try it and report back ASAP!

Called the cops over $1? LOL!
Nice to know your manager likes to see our taxes wasted.
He's truly anti-government, eh?
The reason they never ordered again was because the local sheriff went out and
said "some dumbfuck at the pizza joint called and said you was a dollar short..."

Re: would this be a bad idea? ordering a pizza
Robbing the pizza guy is easy as fuck. Just call up the place you'd like free pizzas from and order them to a large college dormitory or aparment complex.
I live in one so I just tell the dude to meet me outside in the front. Theres like 250 rooms so they got no idea who ordered it. If they ask for a room number tell em you'll just meet em out front and use a payphone or cell phone that enables you to hide caller ID when ordering. Pay in cash.
Then when the fucker gets there just grab that shit and run. Some acne ridden teenage fuck ain't about to do shit over a few pizzas if he values his life.
Obviously not something to do on a weekly or even monthy basis but I'm guilty of doing this when hungry as fuck and broke.
Might as well order as large a haul as you can run off with. Luckily my dorm has a back entrance that makes it mad convenient to jus run around back and dip in through the back door.
