Two Wiis this week
I've spent a good portion of my time this past week on mturk.com doing a little experimenting. Basically 'requestors' pay 'workers' (you) a few cents to do stupid, simple tasks (HITS), such as transcribing audio, comparing data, labeling things, reviewing websites, etc. Anyways, I thought it would be fun to see how much could me made, and if it could bring in enough money to replace a part time job. After 5 days of turking, I've managed to bring in just over $600. You can either get that money transfered to your bank account, or redeem them for an amazon.com gift certificate. I opted for the certificates as my wife wanted a Wii for Christmas. I decided to get two and figured I could resell it for a little profit. I also got two extra remotes and two extra nunchucks.
So, for all you kids looking to make an income, heres a good opp for you. If you have a bank account, get cash. If youre young and your parents dont trust you with money, get amazon gift certificates, get a wii or ps3 or something of that nature, and then resell it. $600 in 5 days isnt bad money, and sitting at your computer listening to music and clicking your mouse sure beats asking people if they want fries with that...
Now you can all stop asking 'im under 18. how do I make money?'

I think everyone here has probably heard of amazon.com. I don't think I'm advertising anything new. I just keep seeing all these kids saying 'what do i do for money, im only 15'. Here is something they can do.

Well if it works more power to you. I used to fuck around back in the day with those run a third party ad on your computer all day and I didn't get paid. Maybe because I always tried to cheat my hours in who knows.

Not exactly. Even presented with a good opportunity, most people would be too afraid to take it. It sounds like you are one of those people...
Go to the library and take out 'Rich Dad, Poor Dad'. Its a good book and reminds me a lot about the people on totse.

I'm not asking anyone to believe me. I'm just presenting an opportunity. What you choose to do with it is up to you.
