The perfect partner
Is anyone else actually looking for the "perfect" partner or are you are just settling? What do you look for in a partner? I can't seem to find anybody that can keep me interested for more then a week. Most people around me are settling for seemingly shallow relationships and I just don't understand how that can keep them happy. I'm worried that i'll get to a certain point in my life where i'll be too old to find somebody and end up dying alone.

Re: The perfect partner
I'm one of the lucky minority that's already found her. Very smart, attractive, hilarious..and she's short! I looooove short girls. Always have.
She's also a singer with an amazingly hypnotizing voice. I really struck gold with this one, so obviously I'm going to do everything in my power to keep her around.
Keep working at it. I never thought I'd meet someone like this and I was obviously wrong.

I settle, I mean I dunno. I'm a horny kid. I have neeeeeeds! I figure take em as they come and the right one'll come along eventually. Waiting seems like a waste of my youth.

Re: The perfect partner
Yeah, I mean, no one's perfect but you can get pretty close. I'm not going to ruin a great relationship just because she's not a 10 in every field, but there are some crucial attributes. She doesn't have to be super smart, but interesting and willing to learn things are a must. If the conversation gets stale after three weeks, 6 months or a year, I don't see how the relationship can possibly last.
Also, she must be smoking hot and rich.

I have a few but simple requirements, incredibly smart (advanced degree in a real field at the minimum), responsible, and blunt (I hate girls who just don't say whats on their mind).
Looks wise, 5'5-5'9, slim body, nice tits and ass and a beautiful face.
I refuse to settle. Do I settle for anything in life? No.
I would prefer to die alone. Than to be with somebody I don't like.

Re: The perfect partner
I feel like it's pretty easy to have a list of qualities that make up your ideal partner, and then to find somebody who epitomizes all of those qualities, however it is much more difficult to find someone with whom you share a genuine connection, someone who just 'feels right.' It seems silly to keep searching around for some archetype of the perfect person rather than find someone who you'll love and want to be with in spite of their flaws.

Re: The perfect partner
I thought about this earlier today. It's really depressing but most of us will never find the perfect partner. We aren't perfect, so there's no reason a person who is would want to be with us. Most of us will end up settling to some degree.
