Smoking is something i always do privately, outside and by myself. Almost never in public; mostly because its illegal.

Ive realized smoking weed in public is easy; you just have to make sure it doesn't smell.

So i just want your help and experience; is it possible to get rid of the smell by combining it with tobacco or some other smoke able herb/plant.

Any particular brands that are best?

I really just want to know for when im smoking in public.

tobacco masks the smell abit mate but it smells alot less than just weed. Just go to reasonably remote places and if someone comes past dont act sketchy, the chances of them actually saying anything to you are very slim.

Maybe mix with tobaacco, but I just blaze and then smoke a cigar or something, just don't keep weed on you when your blazin, just take your dub, and thats it, so you can smoke all the evidence, and then like totally discard of the roach, and nobody can do shit.

Smoke by water/sewer drain. Perfect place to ditch a roach or whatever if a cop happens to walk by.

But to cover the smell is pretty tough, tobacco really won't help. Weed smells way stronger. In fact, I can't think of anything that would mask it. Flavored wraps just make it smell like berry-weed or something, so that's not the answer either.

clove ciggarettes are pretty fucking overpowering....

if you would want to smoke what is mostly unfiltered cloves expect it to be a little harsh though....

I find tobacco tends to make it smell stronger and the smell to stick longer when they mix rather than just weed on its own.

I dont think there really is anything that can mask the smell, not without making it taste absolutely awful.

use a portable vapourizer. those make no smoke and can be used inside, it's pree sweet.

For a couple of months every morning on the way to the bus stop I would smoke a spliff in public, and finish it at the bus stop. Nobody ever said anything. One time I even walked past a paramedic with a cop near by.

Quoted for truth. I think tobacco helps mask the smell, especially if it's menthol tobacco. However, I don't add tobacco to every joint I'm going to smoke in public, because it just doesn't matter. If you're going to be close to people, add the tobacco. If nobody's going to be around, roll as you please.

As I've said before, a rolling machine will produce something that looks much less like a joint and much more like a cigarette; this should look less suspicious to onlookers.

Don't forget to include one of those highly debated cardboard filters if you don't want to worry about saving/wasting a roach.

Yeah people automatically assume its a cigarette so its pretty easy to smoke in town especially because half the people are smoking.

The thing is im very self-conscious/anxious which is slightly worsened on weed.

What would be the best brand of tobacco for making a spliff?

I usually chop up my weed very fine, and i also like low doses so i figure you chop it good and mix it well it will burn evenly.

If you do like a 70/30 of a proper cigarette size you'd get blazed and mask the smell pretty good.

Last time I walked through campus (city campus) with a spliff, someone yelled out "IT SMELLS LIKE WEED!"

Water curing tends to remove a lot of the smell. It'll remove nearly all of the smell if your weed's not particularly smelly. And certain strains just smell so good, like a bakery mixed with flowers, not really like the typical weed smell.

There's also ONAs. Odor neutralizing agents, certain herbs that will remove a lot of the odor.

Water cured sativa is really nice. Removes most of the glorious flavor and smell but the high is still amazing.

i wouldn't say it completely removes the flavor, but it sure as hell makes for a smooth smoke..

It really does depend were you live, like over here in Australia in some states the police couldn't care less if you were smoking a joint in public, bearing you weren't making a nuisance in public.

Why do you worry about the smell so much? You will probably get strange looks at the most.

Any time extra or special attention is payed to me especially by alot of people (i.e. public speaking when im the centre of attention) i become very self-conscious.

I would just pull the cotton filters out of cigarettes and put a crutch in them. Then I would remove x amount of tobacco and put weed in about 1/3 of the way down the cigarette, fill back with tobacco (not mixing with weed). I would smoke it until I knew where the weed was and inhale heavily in that part only, then let it burn down and enjoy the rest as cigarette, I did this outside the dorms a few times when I had no one to smoke with. Kind of like a one hitter with more grass...

The more you smoke weed in public the more you will get used to the idea that people really aren't looking at you. You just sound like a paranoid person!
