i hate the grateful dead. back when i started high school and just wanted to fit in with a clique i was hanging around some psychedelic kids a lot of the time and they would always jam grateful dead on blunt cruises. i tried my damndest to enjoy them but i just couldn't i dislike them strongly and that takes a lot for me. i enjoy practically any band with talent and passion and there isn't a genre of music i dislike.

I used to love metal, and manson and all that shit, after hearing the Dead on LSD I have since dropped everything BUT that kind of music, psychedelic music.

one week is plenty of time to wait in between mushroom trips right? reason I ask is that one week after I ate 23g fresh I ate 3.5g dry, and the trip seemed significantly diminished... and was wondering if my drying method was significantly reducing potency (the simple fan blowing)... and it seems like for most people one week should be fine. but also the fan blowing works fine for most people, so...

also anybody have good results with shroom tea reducing stomach discomfort? both trips I felt very sick, and nauseas, so I had to lay down for most of the time and it was hard to enjoy it... mentally I was fine, not a bad trip or anything, just bodily discomfort, that escalated in the latter part of the trip... so I'm looking for ways to reduce that, and I'm thinking tea could be one...

Wait longer. Fan drying can't possibly reduce the potency. Shroom tea works for a lot of people, as does ginger and taking them over a longer period of time. Native Americans never had a problem with cactus nausea because it was eaten over a period of several hours rather than all at once.

I've always eaten ginger with it, that helps taste wise but the nausea/ sickness I speak of comes much later in the trip. and it's not just nausea either, but, just feeling sick and uncomfortable I guess. kinda hard to describe, but it was at the point where I could really stand up, just had to walk from chair to couch as fast as I could...

don't know how anybody could go around outside wandering in the forest (as I'd like to do) feeling like that. maybe I'll add some zinc and other supplements to see if that helps any as well.

if that fails, I think a psilocybin/psilocin extraction is in order...

Music can be very influential on your mindset when you're tripping. If someone has to listen to something they really don't like and may come off as a little dark and grim and whatnot, their trip is going to be affected. That's just how it goes. The music was obviously very unpleasant for him which is why he had his little episode.

Like I've said earlier in the thread, just because you like something doesn't mean someone else will. Getting your friend's input when you're tripping is very important. You can't be selfish and just think about yourself and your trip.
