Can u freeze a lock?
i need to have a quick fool proof way to break a lock.
and by break i mean physicaly destroy the lock.
could u freeze it with dust remover and then hit it with a hammer and it shatter like glass?
dust remover get cold as fuck when u turn it upside down and spray it
and there is construction work going on at the place i wanna break the lock at so sound aint a problem
i was just wondering if this would work.
has anyone tried this before?

Re: Can u freeze a lock?
Yeah but it's not quick or fool proof. Duster won't work. Just grab a sledgehammer.

Re: Can u freeze a lock?
Does the door open in or out? Is it a doorknob lock or deadbolt?

Unless its very cold, metal wont shatter. Even in extreme, extreme temps I dont know for certain if it would then. Most locks are designed to be used outside, and thus in not-so-pleasant weather and temperatures.
I assume also that you're talking about a padlock, rather than a lock inside a door? Why dont you either pick the lock, use a set of shims, or bolt cutters?

Those suck, use a long fat screwdriver or some kind of pipe that fits in the padlock hasp, use leverage against whatever the lock is mounted on to pop the padlock. And if that doesent't work remember usually the weakest part of a door is the frame/hinge.

Re: Can u freeze a lock?
Dude just cut the lock off with fucking bolt cutters. That's the easiest way to get through a padlock.

This.
If it's only a crappy locker lock, all you need is a soda can.
