Better Living Through Chemistry Discussions of any and all sorts of mind-warping chemicals, pills, booze, mind machines, trippy stuff, current street prices, importing pharmaceuticals, smart drugs, nutrients, herbs, and altered states. Please try to keep your conversations "theoretical" in nature, since this is an open conference.

Default Sea Sick med's

I was talking to a girl who is an expirienced drug user who said one of the better high's she had was when she took a normal dose of anti-sea sick pills. Is that is bullshit? And if not would it cause brain damage or serious negetive side effects?

It's usually just anti-histamines.

Probably, seasickness pills are usually antihistamines like dimenhydrinate, very low abuse potential, particularly in therauputic doses.

Obviously not when used as directed.

Maybe it was just an acid flashback then, it seemed kinda fishy to me that something like that which is OTC would be recreational at all unless it had a severe drawback to deter junkies.

There are drawbacks, the main one is that you're megadosing dimenhydrinate.
