I'm just thinking outloud, but it seems that phenethylamine (phenylethylamine) should be a good precurser. Seeing as that all phenethylamine drugs are built off this molecule.

amphetamine = alpha-PEA
methampetamine=methyl-alpha-PEA

I doubt you can get to MA from PEA, because someone would have already thought about it. I assume it is something like MA>MDMA, can't be done.

But there should be some serious stimulants that could come out of it.

At the very least, is there a way to make it not break down by MAO? I have a thread in BLTC going, this is a very good drug it just lasts about 15 minutes because it breaks down. Like PEA is fucking me up. But if it could last longer than 15 minutes it would be the shit.

There is a supplement out there that is methyl-PEA, I forget what it is called but on the bottle it comically says "don't use if you have a history of drug abuse."

Maybe the methyl makes it hit the BBB faster?

How is this a thread in disguise? When I consume PEA I get high but the duration is too short. I am wondering if there is a way to chemically change it so it lasts longer by either not getting as inhibited by MAO or hits the BBB faster.

PEA is also what 100% of all phenethylamines are based off of.
